Hello, I recently received the message ‘Autoloaded options could affect performance’ on my site health check. It says ‘Your site has 896 autoloaded options (size: 912 KB) in the options table, which could cause your site to be slow.’ I have never had this problem before so I am not sure where this is coming from since I didn’t recently add any new apps. I am assuming it has something to do with an update. The largest option is wphb_scripts_collection 246.22 KB and the second largest is _transient_dirsize_cache 180.60 KB. Is it possible to disable autoload on either of these options or should I contact my hosting provider in this situation. Thanks in advance.

Website expired, I have a backup but how do I access my content?

Hello everyone,

My domain expired in december and I stupidly didn’t renew for finacial reasons. Anyway, I was using Updraft plus to backup automatically as well as a monthly database backup too. Now I have all those files, is there a way I could compile them locally or somewhere to get my website backup and running just to get the content. I do not intent to reuse that website so if it could be done for free that would be the best option.

Those are the files I have access to:
– WordPress SQL database file
– Updraft Plus DB file
– Updraft Plus Uploads
– Updraft Plus Plugins
– Updraft Plus Themes
– Updraft Plus Others

I hope this is clear, and if someone can help me that would be amazing!

Error establishing a database connection

Hi all. I have searched previous posts on this but cannot seem to find an answer.

I went on this morning and changed the password of the SQL database and since then i get the error message when i attemt login to /admin. I have looked on the .htaccess and there is no mention of the My SQL credentials in the file. i have attempted a database repair which hasn’t worked i can access all files and the database through my Cpanel but i am now at a loss of where to go from here.

Any help would be gratfully appreciated.

but when i search for this text it return no result on my site but when i search for a normal text which has no [] i am getting search hits i don’t know what is the reason please guide me through

SQL database defined

I want to verify that I understand exactly what the “SQL Database” is before I do my backup. As I understand it, that’s the text or ‘blog’ data that I have on my website. All the rest of the stuff in Public_html has to do with theme and how I have things set up in general. I have limited downloads, and backed up the entire SQL and Public_html in Sept. The only things that have changed since then are the additional text I’ve added. Can I get away with just backing up the SQL files?

You are dealing with a real ignorant person here. I’m even too ignorant to make sense of trying to search for this info. I appreciate the help.

My SQL database is overfilled and has shut down my WordPress dashboard for the last 5 days, in addition to making the site mostly unusable. So I can’t log in to the Dashboard and my web hosting company (Web.com) has basically told me I’m on my own (not happy about that but that’s another story). They did send me a list of database tables and I noticed the longest one is wp_yith_wcwl_lists.ibd . I am desperate to get the site working again, and am wondering if I can safely either perform “Empty the table (TRUNCATE)” OR “Delete the table (DROP)” under the Operations tab of MySQL within phpMyAdmin without damaging the rest of the database. I certainly don’t want to make matters worse.

Too many SQL databases

Hello Multisite users
A couple of months back, I converted my single site to a multisite. But it took me several tries to set it up and now I’ve got issues with having too many SQL databases. I have six of them and they are leading to confusion.
For instance, when I contact my host (Bluehost) they sometimes seem to look at the wrong database. When I log in to “my.bluehost” I am told that my site is “staging/7169”. And the staging site is not connected to my network, or even to my main site, but to an undeveloped subdomain.
Can anyone advise me, please, how to begin to sort this out. How can I find out which database is which. Which ones are functional and which are totally redundant and can perhaps be removed?

Moving WordPress content to new WordPress

I have had a wordpress website go down from DNS issues and I moved it manually to a new host and database. I updated the database info to match the new database and uploaded the exported tables from the old website to the new wordpress installation.

Unfortunately, none of the posts, pages and content show up in the new wordpress website. When I look in the new database all the tables are updated to match the old. does anyone have any thing I haven’t thought of?

I would like to add a button to generate a pdf of all events for the current year.

I am hoping you can point me in the right direction.

My current thought is to connect to the SQL database and pull the data into a table with the igsv plugin.

What database table are used for vsel?

use FPDF (I will need to learn a bunch more to use it).

I will need to connect to the correct db table for this option also.

Any thoughts?

hello, i was going to make backup of my site today and i noticed it was almost 124mb usually its around 25mb only, so here is what is so heavy itself in sql
wpgn_redirection_404 utf8mb4_unicode_ci 120.6 MiB
i have only redirected 202 links through it and its so much heavy in SQL.
can you please help me out to reduce the size of that file.
