Hello,

i have just installed your plugin and it found monit.php and it cant removit.

it removed some other files that seem to be connected with that malware.
i have tried to clean again but no luck.
The items highlighted in red have been found to be re-infected. The malicious code has returned and needs to be cleaned again. but still dont remove.

any ideas?

Annoyed by Google spyware everywhere I decided to dump some of their rubbish.

I added this, reloaded the page and was seriously surprised at how much quicker it loaded.

It is just amazing how much the stuff that is meant to ‘speed things up’ is in reality just tracking spyware that slows you down.

As other users, my website was hacked with malicious code and after that nothing was working well because I had a lot of redirects to severals websites.. I lost a week trying to solve myself all the problems.. I hope wordpress pay atention to this kind of dishonest behaviour risking people’s work !..

Judging by comments this theme has integrated spyware, adware (Freemius). And everyone is ok with that?

I get it, you have to monetize your ip, but it have been done for many years in WP, without spying on people and leaking data to third persons. When I need additional features, I buy pro. If I don’t, now matter how much you look at use data and how much you shove that “functionality” in my face, I woun’t buy it.

Yeah, you can opt out. But then, why would you need that code at all? Are there people that actively want their webpage to be slowed down be additional code and their actions analyzed?

It just makes me want to stay the hell away from this company’s products.

I tried to set up a contact form but I clicked ‘skip’ on the ‘let me gather data’ page it wouldn’t let me progress. I just got a ‘you’re not allowed to access this page’ message. Tried it several times, same result, total spyware.

Hello, i have the problem that my blog’s posts redirect to a spammy webpage. I was lucky to get a capture of the exact moment when the page was redirected and got the link of the SPAM PAGE: [spam URL removed] I’ve been all day trying to solve it and i’ve read lot of people with the same issue and solved it, others don’t (like me) in too many ways. I have the idea that i need to search for that link inside the scripts of the page but it’s crazy because it have a lot of files so i want to know how to do that please? thanks. You get one of those fake “Windows Defender says your site is unsafe”

Blah blah blah, it’s fake.

I’ve been running WP “4.8.2”, there isn’t a TON of traffic on our Blog, and I’ve had “Akismet” running on it. Now this is happening. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I’ve tried installing this plugin:
