I am new to block themes and working with them. I am trying to find a way to create a splash page or a pop up screen, that would load once only. This when the site is first visited. It should support a selection of “Yes” and “No” buttons. IF “Yes” then it would redirect to the usual home page. “No” would redirect the visitor somewhere else.

I have found some write-ups on how to implement it using php template files but did not have much luck with this for block themes. I do not want to use a plugin.

When a user visits my website, I want the following to happe

• Full-screen modal displays donation form (hosted on another site)
• Has a link back to my site’s homepage which closes out window
• Only displays once for each user

Any plugins/customization recommendations for achieving this?

Limitations:

-Cannot use 301 redirect as it will keep redirecting to the donation form URL each time the user goes to the homepage.

• Form cannot be hosted on our website.
• Needs to fill browser window (typical embed won’t work)
• Needs to be closable, taking the user back to the original page they’ve navigated to..

How do I configure the landing page so that it contains one image that fills the whole frame with the frame. The site title, tagline and menu set so that the text color can be changed depending on the image. I am trying to put two or three article or blog titles there also that could be linked to the article.

I’m using a plug-in called “PWA for WP & AMP.” With this plug-in, I’ve created a progressive web app. One thing I’ve been having an issue with is the splash page. I inserted all of the graphics at their required pixel sizes, but nothing comes up on my phone when I reload the app.

I just wanted to know if this was a result of the theme, or if there was something I could do within the theme to help the splash page pop up when I reload the app on my phone. When I first tap into the app, there’s a white screen (where the splash page should present), then the loader I’ve chosen pops up, then it goes to the platform. I’d prefer it if there was a splash page to fill in the white space in the beginning of the process.

Is there some code or another plug-in I could use to grant me the splash page I’m looking for on the mobile front?
