I have created a multi-step form – a research questionnaire.
During the fourth step, after clicking the submit button the arrows start spinning and nothing happens. This step contains the form with many conditional fields, however, after removing them the problem remained.

I have checked the console. After submitting such an error shows.
jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 POST feedback 500 (Internal Server Error)
It doesn’t show on other forms (steps).

I tried both:
define( ‘WPCF7_LOAD_JS’, false);
define( ‘WPCF7_LOAD_JS’, false);

add_filter( ‘wpcf7_load_js’, ‘__return_false’ );
add_filter( ‘wpcf7_load_css’, ‘__return_false’ );

Arrow disappears, submission button works fine, however the form is not moving to the next step.

I have also used define (‘WP_DEBUG’, false) – nothing has changed.
I have only necessary plugins (turning them off does nothing).
New .htaccess was created. Still nothing.

Contact Form 7 Multi-Step Forms
Contact Form CFDB7
Cookie Notice
Orphans

Theme: Hemingway (changing it to default does not bring any effect)

Generally the whole form is rather slow, but this one step is more problematic.

This is not really “user friendly” and sometimes the same client returns its contact request several times because he does not know if it was successful.

I read that CF7 was not compatible with SecuPress Pro’s “Block API REST” option.
So I disabled this option and nothing changed.

Any ideas ?

i need help with my contact 7 form: i have installed contact form 7 (Version 4.5) for a form to booking a room with a calendar. The booking plugin is “WP Availability Calendar & Booking”.
The problem is, that after submit, contact 7 shows not an alert for example ‘sent ok’.

The Booking was successful and the form content stored in the wp-db and contact form 7 send’s also EMails.

Can anybody help me?

Just finished up a project, and was trying to troubleshoot the spinning arrow I was having. I am experiencing an issue when trying to send a message when Adblock Plus is enabled. When I hit the “Send” button, all I get is a spinning arrow, and no notifications of “Required” fields not being filled out.

If I disable Adblock Plus, everything works great, and the form will send just fine. Is there something I can change/edit so that other visitors that might use Adblock Plus won’t experience this issue?

I am currently experiencing the spinning arrow issue with Contact Form 7, the email gets received, though the success message does not show.

As I have already tried disabling all non essential plugins and another theme is not an option for me, I decided to set javascript to false in wp-contact-form-7.php

After doing this, I am now seeing the below error:

Warning: Parameter 1 to tt_wpcf7_agent_admin_email() expected to be a reference, value given in /home/<username>/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 525

Does anyone know how I can resolve the above error or have any advice regarding the spinning arrow issue? Thanks!

Get the spinning arrow, never stops spinning, won’t let me
update anything when I click the Edit Portfolio Entry tab.

Used to work fine; AFAIK, I haven’t changed anything. I’ve
tried updating everything a few times, hasn’t helped.

I use this great plugin for a lot of websites. Unfortunaly on one website, the plugin isn’t working. On submission the arrow keeps on spinning, but nothing is send.

I disabled all other plugins, but it is still not working. I switched to a default theme, but then it’s not working either. I tried to use the php function mail() in a seperate script on this domain. And that is sending a mail. So server settings should be correct

I have no idea why contactform isn’t working. The url is: https://www.limascnc.nl/contact/

Maybe there is a conflict, but I cannot find any. Please help!

after an update to the current contact form version I cannot send any messages on the website hautarztpraxis-krakor.de anymore. The spinning arrow icon shows up once I submit a form, but then nothing happens. I already tried some of the tips (https://buzztone.com.au/contact-form-7-email-issues/#pluginconflict) but it doesn’t work.
