Media folders not sorted alpha

Hello,

I’ve been using this plugin for a few days now. I like having my media organized in different folders, many i must say.

Problem comes when i need to move files to a new folder.
Upper bar “filter by folders” is fine, i click on “all folders” and see an alpha list with all my media folders.
I filter by root (\) where the new files where uploaded and then choosing destination folder to move them, folders are sorted with no apparent order (creation date perhaps?). It’s really hard to find the destination folder and as my number of folders increases it will be mission impossible.

“Sort by Latest” Option Sorts Alphabetically

When “sort by latest” is selected in the sorting menu, my products are sorted alphabetically; not by latest.

Anybody know a fix for this?

Attribute Value not shown csv import

Hey guys,
i got some problems with the csv – import of oiur products.
I already started a topic once but that was closed since i missed to answer quick enough.

Here are our problems:

1. If we import products via csv and the attribute value exceedes about 200 characters it is not shown in the front end. For example we got the attribute ingredients, if there are more then 200 characters the value field stays empty.

2. Ingredients have to be sorted by a specific rule in germany (ascendent to their occurrence) . If we import the values ( which is a short text wihth commas) the text gets sorted alphabetically after the import.

3. Our product list shows a different amount of products on some pages. It varies from 9 – 12 and contains empty spaces sometimes.
Is this a pagination problem?

Categories list not sorted

I have a lot of categories. The list is not sorted alphabetically (it does not seem to be in order of creation, either) so I cannot easily find the categories I want to select.

Installed properly but doesn’t seem to work

I successfully installed the “Sort Pages By Date” plugin on my site, and then successfully activated the plugin, but it doesn’t appear to work. It hasn’t changed the presentation of the columns if you click “Pages” in my site’s admin panel. I thought that perhaps by choosing “Screen Options” from within that menu I might be able to activate a “last modified” category within the Pages admin display panel but that option hasn’t appeared either. All my site’s pages are still sorted by page creation date rather than the date I last modified them.

I tried logging out of and then back into my site’s administrator account but that hasn’t fixed things either.

Since there doesn’t appear to be documentation for this plugin I’m at a loss regarding about whether I’ve done something incorrectly, if there’s something obvious I’m just not seeing, or if the plugin is in fact simply not working on my site.

Hi there! I have a questions that you may be able to answer. i’m creating a website for a newspaper , and i have to make a gallery that includes the latests newspapers in pdf extensions ,and only show the thumbnail , the newspapers are sorted by date and the number , so :

how to upload the documents ? how to include the documents in the gallery and the gallery in the page ?how to sort documents ?

Automatically sorted lists?

I want to set up a simple ‘Events’ page which will hold two lists: one for upcoming events, and one for past events. Basically, I want the page to automatically move any event that is in the ‘Upcoming events’ list into the ‘Past events’ list when the date for the event has been reached and is in the past, so that I don’t have to manually edit the page every time an event passes.

I’ve had a look around for plugins that might provide this functionality, but I couldn’t find anything straight-forward enough. What would be the easiest way to achieve this?

Sorted list by name

Is it possible to have a sorted list on a page by ‘event name’, for example:

A
a1event
a2event
a3 event

B
b1event
b2event
b3event

etc.

Each event may contain an internal or external link

Im new at this stuff and I was wondering if I can collect different RSS feeds to specific pages?
eg. If I have an RSS feed from Ancient History and I want it to feed to my Ancient History page
and
I have an RSS feed from a Politics site and want it to feed to my Poltics page,
How do I set that up?

Hi,

I would like to know if somebody know what plugin I can use to display a sql query of a database in wordpress.

Indeed, my target is that visitors give their opinion about things like fruits, book… (I think use a plugin form, like contact form 7 or an other, tell me if you have an opinion). I want these data in a database.
And I want that visitors see a table that they can filter in order to see the best fruit sorted by price, taste…
