Blank lines after photos

I recently moved to using EmbedPress to embed my photos from SmugMug. For some reason, I have extra blank lines after every photo or video. This never happens when I just insert a photo using the Classic editor and insert media icon. Any thoughts?

Smugmug filter on keywords not working for me

Today I tried to show a couple of photos on a page from a smugmug album. The smugmug album is publicly available via https://gallery.kaldenhoven.photography/Sluizenloop/Sluizenloop-2023
For a couple of photos I added the keyword ‘website’.
I added the Photonic widget for Smugmug to the page with the following settings.
What do you want to show => Photos from an Album
User => Current User
On Pick your Album
Only show photos with these keywords => website
Selected the correct album. (The one with the link above)
Layout: Justified Grid
Configure Layout all from defaults except number of photos which is set to 5.
Saved the page and when viewing I am seeing the first 5 photos from the album instead of the ones with the keyword website.
I added the API Key and secret as well as a Access Token Auth and Secret but still no luck.
Am I still missing something? A setting in the Smugmug album?

Can SmugMug albums be displayed by year, then by day?

My client wants these photos to be organized within albums, so a viewer can click on ‘2023 photos’ or ‘2022 photos’ and within those albums they can see daily albums. Is there a way to do this?

Finding the album identifier for SmugMug gallery shortcode

In April 2020 I was using Zenfolio and asked about tips for optimising speed. Since then I’ve abandoned Zenfolio, gone back to flickr, and now I’m revisiting SmugMug.

I still find I’m happier with shortcodes and I’m fairly unadventurous with gallery formats. Once I’ve found something that works ok I’m inclined to stick with it. This makes shortcodes useful as they’re quick and portable.

I think I’m quite happy with something along the lines of:

although I’m playing with a couple of variations (test page).

I thought it would be obvious from a gallery URL what to use for the album=”WHATGOESINTHISBIT” part of the shortcode, but it looks like SmugMug obfuscates this. Is it possible to identify this easily? I’ve had a look at the galleries while logged in and looked at the sharing options but these work at the photo level and not the gallery level.

It’s not a problem but being able to paste in a shortcode then just change the album=”” bit would’ve been very handy.

Display albums by date in rows, not in columns?

The dates of these albums are displaying in descending order from top to bottom. I’d like them to display in descending order from left to right. Is it possible to fix this in the settings? I’m using SmugMug.

404 when clicking on SmugMug gallery

I have a bit of a mystery. Photonic is running in a multi-site and it’s been working well for months. Suddenly, one of the sites is throwing a 404 when you click on a SmugMug gallery. I’ve been looking everywhere for anything that is different between the sites but I cannot find anything.

We are running version 2.83. In the console the only thing I see is the 404–no other errors.

Any ideas as to where to look for this would be appreciated!

Gallery not loading

I’ve added a photonic (smugmug) gallery to my post, which works in Chrome, however all other browsers I’ve tried on both my macbook and ipad just show the revolving waiting symbol.

I’ve also tried on a windows machine with both Chrome and Firefox, without any success.

Help please!
