I’m no longer receiving confirmation or autoresponder emails to any of the addresses I have in email settings. I thought it was a problem with the fact that it was a gmail account, but I don’t receive to any of my email accounts, such as [email protected]. And I have set up SMTP according to my hosts instructions as well.

I renewed my support license and submitted a ticket but haven’t heard any reply. It’s been almost a week now. I feel like that was $25 misspent. I really need to get this working again for my client. Please help.

Reconfigure SMTP-settings

Hi!

Thanks for a great plugin. I have moved a website and its domain to a new server and I need to reconfigure the SMTP settings in the plugin but I just cannot find how to do that. Once configured it seems impossible to reconfigure the settings if needed.

Customers not receiving emails

Hi all,

I have been experiencing a problem ever since I got a wordpress website. The problem being that customers aren’t receiving order confirmation emails. I have contacted my host provider to ensure SMTP settings are valid, installed Postman SMTP and all test emails are successful.

So far the Postman SMTP has sent 3000+ emails so it looks like they are going out no problem. But I’m still getting complaints.

I’m not sure where this problem lies but I presume it’s a woo commerce related issue. Is there a limit to the number of emails I can send in a given time period?

Email accounts with GoDaddy and WordPress

I am very new to WordPress and website design/management in general. Please be as detailed as possible.

I am having trouble setting up email the way I want. I understand this may be due to lack of understanding exactly how wordpress/godaddy email works, but lets give it a shot.

My website is FunnyFoolish.com. My goal is to have email accounts for myself and fellow amdinistrators, as well as general website emails. Examples:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
etc.

I would like to be able to access the email accounts through my website. For example, I log on to funnyfoolish.com and my dashboard using my username and password, and I have an option to access the [email protected] email from my dashboard. I also want [email protected] forwarded to the ksbaker account.

I tried using the settings given by GeoffreyG in this thread though it seems I must be missing something as I recieved a boolean (false). Specifically I did the following.

- From Email:
    [email protected]
- From Name:
    Funny Foolish
- Mailer:
    "Send all WordPress emails via SMTP."
- SMTP Host:
    smtpout.secureserver.net
- SMTP Port:
    80
- Encryption:
     "No encryption."
- Authentication:
     "Yes: Use SMTP authentication."
- Email:
    [email protected]
- Password:
    ***********************

Even if this had worked though, I don’t see how it helps me with the other email accounts I would like to set up, since there is only an option to link a single account under settings > email from my dashboard.

I have been able to set up all email accounts on there own, where I login from the godaddy workspace. However it seems that those do not allow email forwarding. If I want that I must set up the email in such a way as it is ONLY a forwarding account and I have not been able to send messages from that email if it is set up as forwarding.

Please kindly describe in detail if I am wrong in how I think wordpress/godaddy email is able to work, and thank you for any assistance.

SMTP Settings for Go Daddy Email Accounts

I did not see a concise explanation for configuring WP SMTP for Go Daddy hosting and email. Other posts helped, but here is what worked for me in one place:

1) Install the WP-Mail-SMTP plug-in. Activate it.
2) Enter your From Email and Name
3) Setup the Mailer settings as follows:

Mailer:
* Use the PHP mail() function to send emails.

SMTP Options
SMTP Host: relay-hosting.secureserver.net
SMTP Port: 25
Encryption:
* No encryption.
Authentication:
* Yes: Use SMTP authentication.

4) Enter your valid email account credentials.
Username:
Password:

5) Update options.
6) Send test mail. You should get this result:
Test Message Sent
The result was:
bool(true)
