Hi, can anyone help me figure out why the feed is displaying huge/blurry/wonky like this? I’ve messed with all the settings multiple times. It has displayed nicely before. I just want one row/4 columns for desktop. SOS! Thanks.

Update – has become incredibly sluggish, images replaced by blank squares in about 30% of cases, the reconnect options don’t work, unclear explanations.

I only need this to display a couple of Insta streams together on my website, works fine for that. It does seem to “forget” to access one stream or the other as time goes on, but its easy to restart.

SmashBalloon Instagram plugin

We have the SmashBalloon plugin working in our WordPress site to display our Instagram feed. It all works perfectly within WordPress but once we publish a Static version the link to Instagram breaks. Do you have any thoughts as to whether SimplyStatic may be doing something to break that connection?

Is there any work around for this message? Also we have multiple feeds on this site but it doesn’t tell us specifically which one needs to be viewed?

Complianz GDPR Consent plugin blocking facebook feed images

Using smashballoon plugin. Added facebook feed. if Complainz disabled all looks good.

But enabled, Complianz displays:

“This notice is visible to admins only.
Visual Header disabled due to GDPR setting. Click here for more info.”

the “Click here” link goes to a page which says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”

Hope you can help. I am using the free version. I see the pro version may have this fixed. Not sure we can justify the extra cash. Is $49 a one off. But I think it should work.

In Integrations, under services, Facebook is switched on and “placeholder” is checked. Since it says “Enabled services will be blocked on the front-end of your website” I disabled this but it makes no difference.

Smashballon is not listed in Integration->Plugins, but I am not sufficiently technical to understand from your guidance articles how to add it, or if this is required.

I’m an admin on the FB page. I’m following the instructions here: https://smashballoon.com/doc/facebook-ppca-error-notice/ to fix this. It never asks me to approve permissions. I’ve done the auto method, and the manual method. I’ve deleted the feeds and tried again.

I’m stumped.

No images on Instagram Feed on Smash Balloon

Hello,

I have been using Smash Balloon for a long time with no problems at all. Everything is up to date and it says I am connected on Instagram but just in the last few days NO images show up on my Smash Balloon Feed. I haven’t done anything? Help. If I cannot resolve this I will remove it from my site because it looks terrible sitting there blank like that. I have well over 2 million visitors so I get a lot of traffic and I like things to work as they should.

Hi,
I used the Smush plugin and after I did the bulksmushing my media isn’t loading previews anymore. Also I get an error when I try using an image.

I tried using a different theme and deactivating all my plugins. Didn’t work. Please help me.

Litespeed: correct settings to work with Smashballoon Plugin?

Hello! I’m using the Smashballoon Instagram Pro plugin to display images from a specific user account on specific pages. I’ve been having an issue with a site not updating the images even when they’re correctly posted and hashtagged – and we have determined the issue is with the Litespeed cache (I have to go in and manually purge the site in order for the new images to populate.)

Since the point of the plugin is to be dynamic and have images pop up on the website when they’re posted on Instagram, I need to fix the Litespeed settings. There are so many settings I’m not sure where to start. Can anyone guide me? My two best guesses are either to disable caching on rest API (easiest) or to add the individual pages to “Scheduled Purge URLs”. Am I on the right track? I just want to do it correctly, and only disable the specific features I need (not accidentally disable something that is unrelated to my issue.)
