Especially in downsizing images and saving storage space. Some pictures may still have a face cut but I guess that’s up to the limit of the face detection algorithm. Try it for yourself.

Hi there,

I hope you are able to help me out.

We are using an affiliate marketing software/plugin that brings in products to our catalogue from affiliate platforms, together with their corresponding images.

The product images at present come in at all different sizes, causing a problem when displayed in the shop page all together.

We’ve enabled smart resize and used force regenerate thumbnail images, but they are still not appearing how we want them..

Is there anything else you can recommend?

Only downside: the name isn’t recognizeable enough. Oh another one: mass crop!

If I didn’t find this plugin by accident, I sure wouldn’t have used it. Should have included “Smart Crop”, “Focal Point”, “Face Detection” or something!

Another thing, would be really need if there’s an auto/mass face detection/crop. Kinda tiring have to click all the images from the past one by one.

Crop Position on each slide won't change

Using Nivo Slider with Smart Crop ON. As you create a slide, the crop position can be set. However, it seems once the slider is saved, the position can’t be changed. Moreover, even by deleting the slide and create anew with the same image, the position seems to stick. Is this true for others? And if so, anyway around it?
