I have been having problems for weeks trying to upload media in a widget. Running latest version of word-press, using small business theme, widgitized option. Dropzone 4 column, allows me to upload media, shows it in screen but when I click insert picture it goes to a blank white screen and nothing happens. Very frustrated by this, have used both IE and Chrome, no plugins running. Please please help. Link to my site

Hi All,

(I am a novice wordpress site builder so please keep instructions basic)

I have built a site: www.ravenwoodservices.net

I am wanting to do a few things:

1) Change the red line and border around search facility to blue (at top of site)
2) Correct slider heading issue – some are white and some you cant see
3) I want to hide the small business theme categories, archives, meta info and post previews below the feature slider (so it looks more like a website than a blog site)
4) When clicking on a slide feature eg: dry verge it looks a bit messy. I would like to have the text below the feature image and possibly an extra space after the text before the tags.
5) There is a quote just above the footer I wouldlike to align central.
6) I am assuming there is no way to hide tags on posts?

If anyone can help I will be eternally grateful. Full of hayfever too so would cheer me up… been plodding through thi all day!

I can’t find the function to display the social link icons. Please help me in displaying the facebook & twitter link icons in exactly the opposite portion of the search box on the top red bar i.e. on the extreme left position of the top red bar.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I use Small Business Theme and use the Featured Image for the home page slider. The featured image in a post is placed in the slider, however, it is also showing a thumbnail in the post excerpt on the home page and in the full post itself. I don’t want that. Can I delete or comment out some code?

I only have one post with the featured image selected so far just to see how it worked. So only one image will be loaded in the slider right now.

Blog Page when using Home Page Option

When I use the Homepage Option with the featured boxes, I can’t get a blog page in the menu. When I go to setting and make switch to Static pages, I lose the Home Page, when I create a page for blogs, it doesn’t assign the blog to that page.

I like this theme but can’t figure out how to make this happen.

More specifically I wish to add the slide show for all the articles of my site, or alternative I wish to select which article add in the slideshow inside all the article.
Actually only the last two articles are presented in the slideshow.
How is it possible to increase the number of articles inside the slideshow?

I am using the Small Business SEO 1.0.3 theme. I am not using the side bar and would like to remove it but is there a way to center my pages so there isn’t a wide empty column on the right? My site is jackswelding.net.
I know a little about code but not alot. I can add and remove if I know exactly what needs added or removed and where. Please help me if you can.
