Elementor Page Not Loading

Since installing WP Rocket and removing some former Cache plugins on www.remarpro.com my Elementor access to PAGES has slowing ground to an almost halt.

Have googled possible reasons but there are many. Is there a quick way to analyse where this issue may be originating or is it a case of diabling plugins and testing ?

I do also have another maybe or maybe not connected issue which I am unsure how to resolve as follows:
WP Super Cache was removed from your blog or deactivated but some files could not be deleted. /var/www/web/wp-content/advanced-cache.php

Hope someone out there can give me a steer.

Slow page load

Hi,

I just did a pagespeed check and found out that my site has multiple page redirects. The following came out:

https://www     190 ms
https://www   150 ms
https         0 ms
HTTP to HTTPS SSL redirect very slow

Can you please advise how to resolve this?

I’m using the Really simple SSL plugin.

Amazon hasn’t emailed me

Hi there, I applied for an amazon affiliates account and got one with a username and everything. They emailed me and said that the application has been received.

They haven’t emailed me since. Does this mean that I didn’t get approved? I need the product advertising API but the only way to get that is through an email amazon sends you back.

I’m pretty stuck. Does anyone have this same problem? Or does someone want to help me out? Thank you!

One page on whole website loads super slowly.

If you browse a few other pages of this site you’ll get a feel for the page load time on your connection.

If you then go to the ABOUT US page you’ll notice that it is VERY slow to load, certainly comparatively.

I’d love it if people could give me an idea of where to start troubleshooting this issue please.

Missing Amazon Images

Hi, I’m using WordPress.com and setup with amazon images wordpress suggested I try this forum.

The Amazon images sporadically blank out – nothing appears in that row. When I added a background, it was completely blank. When I reload, it may/ may not appear – it’s not consistent.

What can I do to get the images to load all the time? Did I hit a limit?

I formatted a large table with 3 products per row (I had 4 and thought that may have been my issue, so I changed the table to 3. At first I had several tables to break it up, but I changed to one large table – both designs have the same issue. It’s inconsistent and unreliable…

Oh and it loads very slowly too..

Amazon Affiliate links randomly blank when blog post is rendered

I have an error that is not consistent. Sometimes when I view my blog posts the amazon affiliate product links are blank. At other times, they are present. The missing ones appear to be random. eg. one time a recipe might say “add salt, pepper, chili powder” (with all three items being amazon affiliate links) and at other times it might say “add salt,,” or “add ,,chili powder”.

I have this problem on unpublished draft posts as well as published posts. As I mentioned, very random and not consistent. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated – thank you!

This plugin is causing slowdown after 4.9.6 WordPress Update

Mot sure why, but after the 4.9.6 update, my site got considerably slower. Running P3 profiler shows that this plugin is consuming 63% of page load time and .332 seconds alone. No other changes before of after update.
Please check your code compatibility with WP 4.9.6.

Plugin takes time to start working

First report:
Initially, enabling GZIP compression with this plugin made my site take 1 second *longer* to load – both on first byte and “fully loaded.”

Is it supposed to get better with time?? (As it is, I disabled the plugin as soon as I got back test results from https://gtmetrix.com/ and https://www.webpagetest.org/
Both tests yielded similar results.

I’m a bit frustrated because GZIP compression is enabled on the server, yet the tests say my site is not GZIP enabled. Now, even enabling with this plugin got similar results, except that load time takes 1 second longer.
This evening, GMetrix reported: Fully Loaded Time 6.9s Total Page Size 742KB with plugin enabled. Disabling plugin reduced time to 5.8 s.
webpagetest.org reported 6.228 s with plugin and 5.167s without plugin. So in each case, the savings was over 1 second for deactivating the plugin.

PS I notice that some of the 5-star ratings should be 1-star because they indicate that the plugin is not working.

Next morning:
I found out that the “deactivation” of the plugin didn’t actually “take.”
When I re-tested my site (over 200,000 unique visitors a month with WordPress) this morning, I was surprised to see that the testing sites showed “gzip compression enabled.” And, sure enough, WP showed it still enabled.
Turns out that was a good thing. This morning, average full-page load time is 3.5 seconds. But I’ve had that before in slow times, even wo gzip compression, so I’ll reserve judgment till I can test it again at a busier time.
Take-away from my experience: It takes a while for the server to implement efficient gzip compression. So give it a bit of time.

WooCommerce URL Extension on ALL PAGES FORCE REDIRECTION SLOWS PAGE LOAD

After going through the long process of activating and deactivating plugins it IS the main WooCommerce plugin Version 2.6.11 for whatever issue/bug keeps adding (?v=79cba1185463) to the end of EVERY URL except the basket!

This issue is causing very slow loading speeds as google lists each page as a redirection. Once WooCommerce is deactivated, the website loads faster.

I have followed your and Hogash Design Studio’s guidance with WP Debug, Improve Page Speed, change to default wordpress themes & even my hosting tech support team tried to help but it has made no difference.

Really slow product page loading

Hi,

I made a fresh installation with following plugins:
Woocommerce
Woocommerce Bookings
Woocommerce Accommodation Bookings
using the twentysixteen theme.

Then I made 1 accommodation booking product and made about 10 bookings for that accommodation. I made bookings from November to January using different bookings range: 2 nights, 7 nights, 3 nights. etc.

Now when I open the accommodation booking product page on my browser the page load is about 12 seconds and expanding really quickly when adding more bookings for that product. So it is really really slow.

I managed to debug the problem to a function named “get_blocks_in_range_for_hour_or_minutes” or perhaps in that function the problem is “get_bookable_minute_blocks_for_date”.

Is there any way to speed up this? If I understood the functionality it checks bookable blocks minute by minute. Why? Hourly check should be just fine or perhaps it should just check whether the checkout time is less than the checkin time -> day is partly booked.
