Given that WPLOYALTY was responsible for managing user points and rewards, I’m wondering if the plugin may have left behind residual data or made modifications to the database that are still affecting performance even after its removal.
Could you please advise on the following:

I’m at a loss as to how to get speed back to where it was at the beginning of the week, at least so it’s fast enough to access the backend. I thought it was a temporary glitch, but now I’m not so sure.
Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated.

select p.post_author,u.user_login from siow8zcap_posts p
LEFT?JOIN?siow8zcap_users u on p.post_author=u.ID where p.post_status="publish" and p.post_type="post"
… involving 8046 rows in our database. How can we fix this? Thanks.

we have run into the following problem: our WordPress site using WPBakery as page builder is super slow in the backend – and this seems to be caused by YOAST.
Why we think so?
We have run a plug-in conflict test and went through all plugins and as soon as we deactivate YOAST the load times for a page are reduced by 50% to an ok level.
We are talking up to 25 seconds with YOAST active and around 10 seconds with YOAST deactivated.
Can you please help? Thanks!

]]>Using Query Monitor to monitor the Page Generation Time and queries, I have found that having the Yoast plugin installed, causes my backend to slow down from 0-1 second, to 2-3 seconds load time. And every page load, this becomes significant.
My filesystem is shared across multiple servers using AWS’ EFS filesystem. Without Yoast activated, the backend is very fast. Stock/vanilla WordPress backend, loading in 0.29 seconds on average.
Happy to provide more information with the goal of finding a suitable solution so that I, and others, can use Yoast on an EFS filesystem.
