I was using the standard build-in slimstat plugin GPDR solution for the cookie consent.
But it seems that this solution is not valid anymore.
So I implemented the CookieYes plugin for global cookie management.
But know, I’m looking about a solution to manage the slimstat cookie using CookieYes.
I have read the documentation and found (or at least I misunderstood) that CookieYes is able to manage other cookies.
But I couldn’t find how to implement this with the slimstat cookie.
If someone could give me some help/advice about the command/functions I should use to set (or not) the slimstat cookie, it would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Im trying to get the cookie notice working with slimstats. But regardless what I am trying to do, the slimstat tracking code will always be set.
Slimstats uses two cookies:
“slimstat_optout_tracking” where it stores wether a user agrees to tracking or declines.
Values are true or false.
“slimstat_tracking_code” – the tracking code itself which should only be set if a user consents.
What I try to do:
1.
On page load none of the two cookies should be set.
2.
User declines tracking: “slimstat_output_tracking” should be set to false.
And the “slimstat_tracking_code”should not be set.
3.
User consents to tracking:
“slimstat_output_tracking” should be set to true and the “slimstat_tracking_code” should be set
I am trying to get this working since two days – without luck.
So any help is appreciated.

]]>Because of several mistakes on the website I have made a new installation and would like to take the statistic data from the broken page.
Export via Mysql-Dump and import works for many other plugins, I feel safe to do so.
During import (drop all empty tables) I get error messages
” #1452 – Cannot add or update child line: a foreign key condition fails (test
.wp_slim_events
, CONSTRAINT fk_wp_slim_events_id
FOREIGN KEY (id
) REFERENCES wp_slim_stats
(id
) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE)””
There are no data in the archive table “wp_slim_stats_archive” yet, because the website has not been online for 30 days.
Alternatively, would it be a solution to fill this archive table “wp_slim_stats_archive” per “now” and then transfer only these to the new database?
Addition: During the import I didn’t pay attention to the ID’s of pages, mail etc., because I didn’t think it was relevant.
Means: There are new pages, posts and elements with other ID’s from WordPress.
I am thankful for every hint!
]]>Resetting to default settings did not help, deleting the tables and reinstalling Slimstat neither. So what can be the problem?
]]>Not on a day by day base, but for a period, e.g. a year.
Is this possible?
]]>After reactivating WP Cerber, the pageviews and unique IPs normally captured and displayed within Slimstats are no longer collected.
Is this a known issue? Let me know if you have thoughts on troubleshooting this conflict b/w the 2 plugins.
Much appreciated!

]]>Thank you for the great plugin. My website was slow on loading, around 5.5s. On checking through Google inspect, I found out it was the Slimstats plugin that was causing it. As soon as I disabled it, the load time reduced from 5.5s to 2.8s (GTMetrix). Not sure this is because of my plugin setup inside WordPress. This is just a friendly heads up, so you can take a look and if the case solve the issue on your side.
Hope to have helped
