Metaslider in columns block does not work

I have been using Metaslider to create six slideshows in two rows of three columns. I was using a Columns plugin but it hasn’t been updated in 7 years and was advised to use the Columns blocks in Gutenberg instead.
However, I’ve inserted the shortcodes for the sliders in the columns blocks and the slides do not change. At the top of my homepage you can see how it works with the old plugin. At the bottom you can see the new arrangement in column blocks where the slides don’t change.
Help much appreciated!

Slideshow covers navigation menu on mobile

Hello !
I’m about to launch my website to the public and I encounter a huge display bug :
On mobile, all photo-gallery slideshows are covering my navigation menu. In other words, they stay at the first plan like you can see here and you can check by yourself there. (I’m using the Twenty Twenty-One theme.)

Having problem with updating home page slider

We have a slideshow on our home page with four pictures. We are trying to switch out one of the pictures on the slideshow. The problem is, I don’t know how to get to the slideshow to make the changes. If I try to edit the home page, I can’t find anywhere on the page how to access the slider. On our slideshows page, we have several slideshows but none of them are for the pictures on the home page. (We use the Slideshows plugin.) Can anyone help?

Latest 9.5 update has broken carousel. Images no longer showing full size. Any help would be appreciated. Regretting having auto updates for Jetpack on.

I’m having the same problem as some other people here in the forum:

I’ve been recognizing it the first time around December 15th. I don’t know since when it actually exists, because I didn’t create or change any sliders for a while, before that date.

After having read other threads with the same error, I’ve been hoping that it would function again after an update of MetaSlider – but it doesn’t so far….

The existing sliders on the website are still functioning!

I’m using WordPress 5.3.2–de_DE and MetaSlider v3.15.3.

I’m usually using Firefox. But I’ve also been trying it with Edge and Chrome and also with incognito mode of all three browsers. It’s always the same result.

Slideshow replacement integration

I have used the previous version of this plugin by StefanBoonstra on several pages. I am interested in replacing the outdated plugin with your version, slideshow reloaded. However, I would prefer to avoid the labor of re-creating the slideshows. Is there a way to load existing slideshows into your plugin?

The current version of WordPress will not allow me to see existing slideshow plugin content in the creation segment. When I click on Slideshows in the side menu, the plugin deactivates. So to re-create the shows, I cannot see previous content. Help!

Button on slideshow

Hi,

I would like to add an ‘Info’ button to each of the images on the slideshow at the top of my homepage, like this (see the red rectangle). Each button should link to the appropriate image in this gallery. My understanding is that I need the AddToAny plugin for this, so I have installed that and chosen these settings (I assume I need to use the ‘universal button’, is that right?). However, nothing seems to happen after I click the green button to apply my changes. What am I doing wrong?

Also, where should I go to set the URL that each button should point to?

Compatability issues with NextGEN Gallery

I’ve been using the Yoko theme for several years, as well as the NextGEN Gallery plugin, and it used to work fine together. However, now something in Yoko is throwing off the placement and size of the slideshow images (cutting them in half vertically and overlapping other content), and I’m wondering if Elmastudio is aware of any issues or fixes for this?
I have tracked the issue to Yoko in that I went through and deactivated all of my other plugins one at a time and did not notice any changes. However, when I switched the theme away from Yoko briefly just for testing purposes, the issue cleared up perfectly.
I have 10-15 slideshows with NextGEN on the site, and want to keep the Yoko theme installed. I inquired first with the people at NextGEN, and they offered a few suggestions with CSS, and in the end, said that they thought I should inquire with Yoko developers.

Custom Slideshow Cropping Portrait Images

So I have this page on the site. I am not a coder, and our coders could not figure this out. I want to make it so, that our portrait images appear as portraits and now landscape and cropped.

Here’s what I think is the line of code.

Banner/Header Image Quality

If you take a quick look at the header/banner image at the top of this blog/news page of the company I run Photography for, you’ll see that the images look terrible. The opacity is deliberate, but I’m talking about the resolution.

I have tried tons of different size and resolution variations, and they all look the same. Something is happening compression wise. Even when I upload an image that is far bigger than the crop would need to automate and get something decent, it looks exactly the same.

As you’ll also see, it is currently pulling and rotating, automatically, from all of the images at the top of the blog posts, so it’s not specific TO the banner image. I realize what needs to be done image wise, but it’s simply not working.

I would love to get this fixed. Thanks for any and all help.
