Front Page Posts Slider Size

Is there a way to set the Front Page Posts Slider to a specific size, height specifically? I noticed recently that there is a lot of white space that appears on desktop and mobile underneath my slider images. Not sure if it was an update or plugin that caused this change.

When I go to the customize screen it looks normal with no extra white space but once I exit, the white space reappears.

I can’t figure out how to use size settings of the slideshow? When I open slideshow settings on top I see three set of size options with max and min prefix. If I define just size values is it gonna work ?

Hi everybody!

My site (emprendete.com.co) is running with this template (Soundbyte Progression – Podcast/Audio WordPress Theme) and I am struggling because I wanna reduce the size of the slider in the home page (Inicio). This is a podcast webpage and I want to make the play button visible once a visitor enters the web page, and the easiest way to do so is by reducing the size of the slider.

I am not a coding expert, but I wanna do slight modifications.

If you could tell me how to easily do it, I’d be more than happy.

Slider sizes not correct

Inserted a slider in content. Settings for the slider are 400px by 300px but the slider is appearing in a different format.

Trouble with layout for Sportsline theme website

This is my first WP website that I am configuring. The theme has been installed and I have begun uploading the content. I have 3 issues I need help with:

1) I uploaded a custom banner for the header image, which stretched across the top of the page when 1st uploaded. Now the size seems to have been altered and the image does not cover the header area. I have read several posts and looked in the CCS Styles and Functions area for code to manipulate the sizes but have been unsuccessful.

2) The size of the images in the slider (Sticky posts on home page) has increased and is larger than I would like. I have adjusted the sizes of the featured picture in each post but no change on home page.

3) There seems to be a duplication of posts under the latest news posts featured on the home page. How do I correct this?

Adding button to slider increases slider image sizes – help!

When I try to add a button and a URL link to the images within my fullwidth slider, the addition of the button causes a zoom-in on the image (cutting off wording) and makes the overall slider size increase as well. I’d like to add a button without this happening. Welcome your advice, as to how to remedy this!

AC SEC Featured image slider too large!

I love JustWrite and I have just updated it.

The AC SEC Slider #1 widget spans the page width when activated. It is just too large and my sidebar starts beneath it! I like to edit it to fit in where my current slider is now.

Any Help please!?

On a 22 inch screen the slider looks perfect. Width is variable (good) and height is fixed (also what I want). But when you make the screen smaller or watch the page on a mobile phone. The images are getting really tiny.

If I check and see style B. This style stays at the right size! Even when I make the sceen smaller.

Can you tell me how to fix this? Tried many options on the slider width and slider height, but no way I can reproduce this one…

Asteria Lite Slider

Hi all, I’m hoping someone here may be able to help me. Using Asteria Lite with a slider on first page I don’t seem to be able to alter the height of the slider on this theme. I’ve tried altering the size of the pictures but they just get displayed at the size dictated by the theme and just appear pixelated. I’m guessing I need to edit the theme code manually but I’m not sure where I find that>
