Problem with slider only intermittently appearing

Having a problem making a slider consistently visible – it seems to come and go depending on unrelated settings. Had it all working and configured to appear on Home and Latest pages, the. Added the side bar and the slider vanished. Tried disabling and re-enabling page by page and it sometimes appears for a bit in the preview but not on the page, but mostly not. It’s meant to be there at the moment bit is not visible on preview or site. Getting a bit stumped – would appreciate some help – many thanks. NB the site content is just dummy for now.

Hi, I couldn’t figure it out…but my slider is not working on my site…I tried both revolution slider and smart slider and both are not working, it’s just black. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, i have a problem with Slide Anything plugin, it shows the slider 1 by 1 in full desktop and mobile, but in tablet view or 1024*768 resolution (for example) – see here the slider appears like this:

Any suggestion to fix this and put the slider showing 1 by 1 in any resolution?

Ever since I (auto) updated Jetpack the slider on my site (simplyelope.com)has been a bit off. When I deactivate Jetpack everything woks fine, but I depend on Jetpack so I had to reactivate it.

Is there any way to fix my slider?

I have problems with sliders on Enigma theme. The pictures coming up distorted on internet explorer only, but not on Mozilla or Google Chrome. The problem went away for a month a reappeared again. I am not sure what to do in this case.

Hi I am a bit of a newbie to websites. I like the idea of customizr theme since I was able to use a large image instead of text on my home page..

But from there I am lost. I have been unsuccessful in uploading a slider image. Also, instead of a slider I would like a normal header image. Is that possible?

Also, how do I remove the 3 round customizable widget areas as I do not need them?

Hello All,

I have a huge problem with Soliloquy on the home-page of my WP site, please see the home page here :

You will notice that at the top of the page (even before the header and navigation bar) there is a slider showing a number of images. I don’t know where this came from, nor how to delete it – i can’t find it’s code in any of the html (or php) text from my pages : index php, soliloquy css, theme twenty twelve dossier…. it seems to be ‘behind’ my homepage and so i just cant access the text code to delete it.

I have uninstalled soliloquy completely, deleted all images from my site and then reinstalled soliloquy and readded the images, re creating the sliders. That didn’t work though, as soon as soliloquy was reinstalled the slider at the top of the page just came straight back.

Where is the html (or php) text for this part of the page so that i can delete it please? Please help as I am lost for what to do !

How can I fix this problem with my slider? I’ve already tried to use a photo way bigger but it’s still left-justified.

Hello guys,

I am new to wordpress and dont know any programming languages like CSS or HTML so I would appreciate if you could keep this as simple as possible.

Basically I have a slider plugin (FA lite) that creates a slider for me on my home page. The problem is that there is no space between the slider and the remaining content because of which it looks bad, especially in the mobile version of the website.
