Guys,
I need your help. I know nothing about webpages nor WordPress. I am still learning how to use it, I downloaded it last week because I want to design a webpage on my own (I’m practising on xampp) but I certainly need help for this. I have read other forums regarding the same topic but, of course, I don’t know where to place the code for making the slider appear under the menu on the Home Page. If someone could help I would really appreciate it.
I can’t add my main menu to the slider menu because it doesnt appear in the “Menu Settings”..
]]>Question: Does anyone know of a plug-in (or if no plug in, then a WP theme) that does this? I’ve tried researching it, but have never happened on the right search terms to identify the feature.
Additional info: Her site is not yet up, but it was going to be built on the Genesis framework, with the Epik theme. I’ll be posting this on that forum as well. Thanks for any help you can give.
]]>In general I’d like to break up the giant space slightly, visually. But not block it into parts. I thought a transparent background shade for the menu could work.
My limitation: I’m having difficulty finding/editing images that don’t partially obfuscate the menu items on the home page slider. The menu items aren’t easily distinguishable on all images because the images are too light in that area or too busy. Or the images then make it difficult to read the slide text. I’m not a graphics person so I use what I can find. I’ve spent a lot of time searching and testing with questionable, okay fairly poor, results on a couple of slides.

Please advise as to if this is possible or simply too difficult. Or will impact the design elsewhere in a negative way.
Thank you
]]>I am currently developing a site: www.alfa-kem.fi
If you take a look at this site you can see that there is a slider menu under the banner with pictures to every topic.
I would like to change those pictures and replace with my own made pictograms ( PNG files on my computer ) but I can’t locate or find the place from the code where I could do that. If I use firefox firebug I can see where they are located in HTML, but I don’t know how to find them in PHP code’s.
I am editing and uploading files via FTP.
Any ideas on this problem ?
]]>Weaver II Pro has an Image Slider feature allowing a user to display sliding (overlapping) photo images.
Unfortunately, I triple-checked my plugins and WPPA+ will not allow the sliding function to work. I can display the static images, but when ‘checking’ the sliding feature it will not work when WPPA+ is activated.
So, I guess it’s an issue of who is causing the conflict and (hopefully) how to fix it so users can have both which are great options to have!
My current setting is with WPPA+ deactivated and the sliding option of the Weaver II Pro Slider Menu activated.
Thanks for any help! I want to use both!

]]>is there a way to make the last image of the 7 the default image to show the whole thing?
not sure if you can see what i mean…
