I have been trying to solve an issue with my WordPress site (Customizr Pro theme) and integration with a 3rd party used by my customer to add their services to the website. In other words, they “skinned” my WordPress site, pulling the header/footer/menus from our site and filling the pages with content from their services.

(There was initially a problem with the Font Awesome icons not showing on the skinned pages, which I fixed by modifying my .htaccess file.0

The only issue now is that the dropdowns for the main menu aren’t working on the skinned pages.
The error that I am seeing is:

Please compare the menus from the “skinned” page to the menu on my home page.

The 3rd party (weblink international) says the problem is not anything they have control over with the skinning. Any advice or suggestions appreciated!

how can i edit the css and in real time or with refresh see the results?

will bbedit live preview do it?

I have a very basic template but I have been looking to change 3 things. It’s easier for me to do so via skinning but whenever I make changes, not all of them appear, for example I want to change the colour of the text in the navigation bar but it doesn’t work, but changing the background bar does?!

When I try to copy a code I’ve found in the forums into the CSS editor, it also doesn’t work, (except just one code changing the post title to the center) not however when I want to change the colour and size of that same title.

I was looking for ages to adjust the sub header in the top left with font and size, but nothing is happening either. I still can’t work out what I’m doing wrong? I’m copying and pasting codes and then back-tracking.

So I’m a little unsure why some things are working and others not?

Any advice would be really appreciated!

I am an web designer who is jumping into wordpress.

I’ve created the following site .

I’ve already created the html/css code for this site and am now trying to integrate the front-end code into wordpress.

I am sure to have many questions, but first one is why are the images in the footer like facebook and twitter appearing while the other images are not? I am using the same relative URL and the images that are not showing are in the same folder.

Is there a chance to load the new skins created with jQuery ThemeRoller?

I created the new theme, upload it to the server in
wp-content/themes/jquery-theme/
then go to enable Disable skins from
Settings->Post UI Tabs
an edit the
put/put.php
line 38
private $skins = array( ‘jquery.ui.all.css’ );
and line 63
$this->skin_dir = apply_filters( ‘post_ui_tabs_dir’, ‘https://www.server.com//wp-content/themes/jquery-theme/’ );
If I’ll go back to Settings->Post UI Tabs I see next to the
Choose a UI skin – jquery.ui.all.css
Test it and it don’t work. I also change the path’s to the images from the jquery.ui.theme.css and still not working.

Could anyone give a suggestion! I could not find any references on net.

Hi. Ive been skinning my wordpress with much success so far, however for the life of me, I cant figure out whats causing the image attachment on the second post on the homepage to act like that, or even where to change it on attachment.php

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anywhoo, what had gotten me stuck was my plan for the sidebar. What I’d wanted to do is use the sidebar for my site menu, and after that I would list various skins, and the visitor could click the name of the skin to change the site to that one so they could view it in whichever one they wanted.

What my question is, in WordPress, is this physically possible, or just a failed dream?

Once I put the CAS restriction on and you are allowed access to the main page, the styles are no longer applied.

Any idea why this would happen?
