Skills autosuggestion in Resumes

I have a doubt about a fact I’ve just discovered reviewing some Themes.

When you add a resume from admin wordpress dashboard the “skills” are suggested based on the existed ones (like happens with tags). When you are an employer and search resumes in the front end, skills are also suggested while you are typing.

But when you are a candidate, the field “skills” does not suggest anything. The candidate type whatever. I don’t know why the field doesn’t behave the same as the other roles. I don’t see the logic of that. Because in this way you will find the same skills over and over again written with typos or the same skills with different phrasing. I’ve contacted the Theme developer and told me that is the way wp job manager + addons behaves. Is this correct ?

Remember: Gen X doesn’t like to click twice when once will do.

Listen up. Generation X Cringes When You Add Extra Clicks For NO REASON. Just Stop It! All of tech is on a huge downward slide and Gutenberg is the quintessential representation of all that is wrong with the stinking pile of poo that is tech. So many UI redesigns are ruined because now, for no reason, instead of clicking elegantly just once, you are now required to perform extra clicks to accomplish the same tasks. Gutenberg’s interface is, sadly, not a practical joke even though it really, really seems like it absolutely must be. I keep hoping WordPress will own it and just apologize to the world. But it looks like they are not cool enough to humble themselves and admit their error. So, after building hundreds of WordPress websites, we now, sadly, can no long recommend WordPress to anyone.

Can’t Remove the Skills Bar

I am unable to create a new member whose page displays without the skills bar. How do I remove it? I had been running version 1.2.1 until earlier today and had a lot of trouble with it – the Publish button did nothing. But I did manage to force the new member to publish by using Quick Edit. But the post had the skills bar – and I can’t find how you add or delete that information at all. There is no box for adding skills when I use the plug-in. I want the skills bar gone! I’ve updated to 1.2.6, but it hasn’t changed my options.

Great support and polite assistance. Fixing all issues.

I’d like to have Technical Skills, Design Skills and Personal Skills, but right now, you can only have one category.

Also, is there a way to change the shape from a star to anything else?

I have just spent well over an hour searching for information about “Skills.” In the “Page Options” section of my edit screens, there are two sections: “Page Description” and “Skills.” Where can I find information about these “Skills.” I have no clue what they are for or how to use them.

“Skills” is not listed in the glossary either. I thought it might be a type of category or tag, but could find nothing about them.

ANY information will be greatly appreciated.

Only nine projects showing

I’ve set up a WordPress website using a Themetrust design: Create.

I am running into issues with only the most recent nine projects showing up in the portfolio. I haven’t seen this addressed elsewhere in the forum. All other project will not show up. It’s not that the projects are improperly created as the will appear if they are moved up into the top nine ( bumping off another project which then disappears ).

I cannot find anything within the settings, menu, CSS, etc that limits the number displayed.

I have installed a plugin ‘Posts Types Order’ but having it active or deactivated makes no difference so I don’t see have this could effect it. I also have used the same plugin on another website with no issue.

I’ve spent a lot of time trying to work this out. Would appreciate any feedback.
