But when I use this image in a post using the image+ block. i.e. the one that says, “Add image with multiple customizations”
and inspect the srcset attribute, I only see two width specifications, 780w and 360w. Also, they both point to the same image, img.jpg
srcset="img.jpg ,img.jpg 780w, img.jpg 360w"
sizes="(max-width: 480px) 150px"
Irrespective of screen dimensions, it always loads img.jpg
. Why is this? Shouldn’t srcset show the other images and load the appropriate ones based on screen dimensions?
Surprisingly, this works fine when using just the image block (one that reads, “Insert an image to make a visual statement”).

]]>As mentioned in the title of this review, the Perfect Images (Manage Image Sizes, Thumbnails, Replace, Retina) for WordPress plugin is really well designed and coded, it also turns out to be very streamlined, lightweight and packed with lots of features and most importantly it works perfectly (mind you, do not confuse the errors that can be caused by an incompatibility with obsolete versions of PHP, because using the updated versions of PHP and supported by this plugin, although I have been using this plugin for a long time, I have not yet encountered any errors in this plugin).
Basically, with Perfect Images (Manage Image Sizes, Thumbnails, Replace, Retina), this simple but very powerful WordPress plugin you can optimize and manage your images very easily, easily replace or regenerate existing images en masse, set the custom sizes you most prefer, improve performance, and create Retina versions for high-definition displays and In addition there is also support for CDNs and much, much more!
Oh I forgot… it is virtually completely free but there is also a paid Professional version available (optionally) that adds, for those who need it, support for:
To finish I still give my compliments to the Developer Mr. Jordy Meow and I can only recommend you to try it because it is really an Excellent plugin for WordPress and I am very proud to have completely translated it into Italian!
Greetings and have a nice day.

With Optimole enabled – even though I have it set to exclude, I am seeing no WordPress-generated srcset/sizes as before:

]]>Ever since the recent update for all woocommerce plugins. Apple Pay is now blocking/preventing my size selector from being selected while on mobile. I only can select Medium in vertical mode and XL-S on landscape mode. The issue is that Apple Pay’s frame is now vertical instead of horizontal, please fix this issue asap.
Thanks
