I was experiencing an issue with emails that had large images in them. I had two large emails, one being 9MB and the other being 6MB. My third largest email was 1MB and that was able to through smoothly. So I’m guessing there’s a limit in between 1-6MB?
I had to download Thunderbird and use IMAP to see what was in the mail queue. (The message must have been so large that I couldn’t use RoundCube WebMail to check it.) I was able to workaround the issue by copying the plain text and then inserting the images into the post.
Thanks in advance!
]]>I’m trying your plugin, it’s nice !
Is it possible to do this with it ? For now I did not success to do it
– Delivery is possible only if each products in the cart is less/equal than 300cm
– Price is based on cart weight AND dimensions :
All products in the cart are less or equal to 200cm
from 0 to 4.99kg = xx€, from 5 to 9.99kg = yy€ etc.
At least 1 product in the cart is from 200.01cm to 300cm
from 0 to 4.99kg = zz€, from 5 to 9.99kg = ww€ etc.
There is no sum, no highest cost, no lowest cost, just 1 rule for each range of cart weight/dimensions
No product individual weight, only total cart weight
I tried:
Rule 1: Weight 0-5kg, dimensions 0-200cm : 5€
Rule 2: Weight 0-5kg, dimensions 200-300cm : 10€
Rule 3: Weight 5-10kg, dimensions 0-200cm : 15€
Rule 4: Weight 5-10kg, dimensions 200-300cm : 20€
For a 8kg cart with 200cm products and 300cm products, the plugin takes rules 1 and 2, instead of rule 4
So I found “Group by all grouped as one”, but then, a message appears on each rule : “[This method can’t group cart items and it will be compared one by one]”
Many thanks
Kind regards
The program was very helpful for downloading a production site to localhost (run under Local by Flywheel – once I figured out the file that ACTUALLY changed the default 300 mg local import size limit for localhost:
… _Windows-user-name_\Local Sites\_my-site-name_\conf\php\php.ini.hbs. The line of code that mattered was:
upload_max_filesize = 300M
)
Before that I used another plug-in but the free version there requires a few extra steps to get the newly-imported website to point to the right database, and I believe it also has its own size limitation for the free version. On the other hand, the import function is a full installation of both WordPress itself and the copy of the website. I’m more likely to screw up the database than the WordPress installation, so I prefer All-in-One WP Migration. However, for the other plugin, the Pro version offers more reasonable pricing, especially considering the extra features you get, including easier database handling and the ability to schedule automatic cloud storage backups. So if I have to pay current prices, I won’t be getting All-in-One WP Migration.
]]>I have this strange situation:
I have created two different contact forms with CF7, the first one is for desktop and the second one is for mobile devices (simply, I have set up the two different shortcodes that show up one only for desktop and one only for mobile inside my page).
Well, the desktop one works perfectly and I can upload files correctly -> here is how I set it up in the CF7 design page, with limit up to 80Mb:
[mfile foto limit:83886080 filetypes:jpeg|jpg|png|tiff|pdf max-file:5]
The issue comes out when I go in mobile layout and the “mobile” contact form shows up. When I try to upload even a single file with less than 1KB size, I have this error message:
“The uploaded file exceeds the maximum upload size of your server.”
But the settings in the CF7 design page are almost the same! I have just changed the name of the field (“foto” for the desktop one and “foto1” for the mobile one).
The settings for the mobile one are the following (limit up to 60Mb):
[mfile foto1 limit:62914560 filetypes:jpeg|jpg|png|tiff|pdf max-file:5]
In other words, seems that in desktop it works properly but in mobile it doesn’t, and I can’t figure out the reason.
Any suggestion will be very appreciated!
Thank you
Rick
I have a multisite install with several sub-directories. I am trying to limit the total size that each sub-directory can become NOT the size the of a single file being uploaded.
If anyone can help clear this up for me that would be great!
Thanks!
]]>File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.
I can confirm that post_max_size is set to 110Mb and upload_max_size is 100Mb.
]]>I understand that the plugin uses WP Media Library and I can set the upload limit on the server size, but doing so would also set a limit for the entire site. Right now my site has a 12MB limit on uploads. I just want a filesize limit for attachments.
For example, I want to limit attachments to 200KB. Suppose a user wants to attach an 8MB file. She clicks Attach and the Media Library opens. She uploads the file and she is successful. However, because this file is more than 200KB, I don’t want it attached. How do I accomplish this?

Help? Is there a size limit for images?
