I have Yoast and yoast has created my site map. Google console is indexing everything expect posts.
i saw all this google console.

may i know the solution of this problem ?

Yoast do not add subdirectory to sitemap

Hi, I installed Yoast Pluging in my WordPress site, and when I check the sitemap URL I can see that Yoast isn’t adding the language subdirectory.
My website’s main language is Spanish but all other languages are in subdirectories.
For example: url.com/page and url.com/de/page
How can I resolve it?

Is there any way of grabbing a list of the sitemap urls that are being generated on my site. I tried looking in $GLOBALS[‘wpseo_sitemaps’] but that doesn’t seem to be the one.

I was having a lot of trouble with this – as the sitemap was ‘showing’, but didn’t have any results. Webmaster Tools reported it as being an HTML file – and not a proper .xml file.

So, after lots of digging – and a LOT of dropped forum links, i’m here to maybe help some people.

Don’t minify your html – as this is preventing the xml file from being read properly. As it’s a feed, it’s being minified – and this won’t allow the sitemap_index.xml (as created by Yoast’s plugin) from displaying properly.

Hope this helps some people… took me half a day, and after not finding this answer on dozens of closed posts – I figured it should be brought to attention!

W3 Total Cache – 0.9.4
Wordpress SEO (Yoast) – 1.4.7 (installed older version via FTP during troubleshooting, didn’t help – but I am going to update it right now – and update this post with details/results)

Hi. I have the latest version of yoast seo plugin, and i see that xml sitemap page : /sitemap_index.xml is just white – no content.

Also i tested other sitemap pages and all are blank-white pages. Is there a problem with xml sitemap?

Hi there,

new here and completely overwhelmed

I used to use All in one SEO, but after changing theme I have been told to switch to YAOST and I always do what I am told

Anyway, I have imported my settings and that seems to work fine. Also I have tried to create a sitemap, but when I open it I get a blank page in Safari and a
“network error when loading XSLT stylesheet https://www.autosvezzamento.it/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/xml-sitemap-xsl.php” (translating from Italian, so the wording may not be 100% correct)
in Firefox

Am I doing something daft? Does the sitemap take time to be created or what?
