]]>Additionally of i attempt to upload a theme i get this error message

Any pointers or better a solution will be most welcome!
]]>This is by far the fastest and easiest way to move a WordPress site from one server to another.
The interface is very simple.
Few clicks and you have a backup
Create a new database on new site
FTP your files to new site, run the installer
BOOM
your site is transferred and works straight away !
No hassle
This is far easier than importing a site the hard way with ftp’ing files
modifying databases and wp-config.
Easy to use, fantastic plugin, makes my job as a developer alot quicker for moving sites.
If your a web developer and build sites locally and need a fast method of moving them to live server this plugin is exactly what you need.
Awesome job Developer !!!
]]>Kind of at a lose, I am sure I am missing something small but need some outside eyes to look at this. The new host is hostgator and the pages in the drop downs are still pointing to the actual domain so at first you will think its is working but it is from the original domain.
Any other details just let me know.
]]>The image URLs that I can see in the source code of the rendered pages look like: https://new.myebsite.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/theimage.jpg
In WP admin in the page edit Classic Mode > Text view, the image references are tags such as this [vc_single_image image=”112″ img_size=”large”]
Does anyone know if Visual Composer will use the new URL for tags like [vc_single_image image=”112″ img_size=”large”] that are already established when I change WordPress URL and Site URL under Settings > General?
]]>I tried to do a simple move and it failed.
I’ve done this before with usually very few problems. This time however nothing worked.
I followed the directions here that almost everyone links. That lead to a broken site.
I’m trying to backtrack here and nothing is working since I made those initial changes to the General Settings for the site locations.
I’ve since been able to get the admin login page to show up.
It now has this error when I try to log in:
Not Found
The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I’ve also been able to get the home page to show up. But the links no longer sync to the pages.
Here’s the website in question.

I’ve scoured the help files here to no avail. I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks!
]]>Now there is a problem getting logged out when on the front end of the site. It happens when going from a secure page, like the checkout, back to a non secure page.
Another symptom is that when trying to delete a plugin, WP asks me for my FTP credentials.
Another weird thing is that Chrome keeps putting me into https for the WP admin.
Note that this is a WooCommerce site. It’s set up to force Secure on the checkout page, and force un-secure when leaving a secure area. That should not cause this problem though, and I’ve verified that it doesn’t cause this problem on my other Woo site.
]]>I’m in the process of rebuilding my wordpress site, as from scratch as possible.
So I installed a fresh copy of wordpress and all my plugins(to be re-configured manually)
Then comes getting my content to the new site, I’ve used the wp import/export function and when I import to the new site, all my media files go from 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 to just one 2015 folder on my new wp install…
But I think this is going to effect seo, at least image seo, as now the media paths are all going to be changed.
Can anyone shine some light on the best option here?
