What would be a good approach to take to this? What plugins, development frameworks, Composer libraries, etc., would you use?

However, when moving the window from full to the half screen, they become uneven, with some horizontal gaps and images that don’t line up. This only occurs when dragging the image from full to half, NOT when sizing it manually bigger and smaller. For some reason, manually manipulating it resizes the images properly.

I just want the post grid to maintain the uniformity of the images no matter how I move the window around.

It doesn’t have to be a complicated grid. I have it set on an X-flip layout on Desktop and a flat layout with the title under it on mobile.

1) looking for the best templates for simple menu of “by year” and “by month”.

2)looking for a search feature (plugin)that takes advantage of searchable pdf files

I having a problem with excerpts. When I activate excerpts it works for the post but the rest of my site goes all over the place. My left column gets pushed way left almost off the screen. My right column gets very narrow and is displayed in the post area. My footer of the site extends out into narrow column.
