Since then, when i logon to wordpress.com, I can see my site stats and so on.. but it has this red circle on the LeftHandSide, saying this Site cannot be accessed..

I have tried fixing.. reconnecting, reinstalling, jetpack,

xlmrpc.php is working fine so is the debugging tool passes all the test

that issue is causing woocommerce app to not loggin in properly..

Please advise..

I’m hosting my site on WPOven.

I have the error message “site cannot be accessed” and an option to disconnect the site, obviously I do not want to do this. My website now shows as a blank white screen. I altered something in the theme functions earlier but then changed it back…something has gone wrong!

I’m not very experienced at this and any help would be gratefully received!

I’m having difficulty getting my site (thinkingwithdavid.com) free of error messages and back to normal, as it’s been a while since I’ve actively tried to edit it. When I login through the wordpress admin, the website seems to be running, but my theme (Highend) and plugins are gone. Other times (when try to access the site through bluehost, the hosting server), I get the “white screen of death”

There are a few error messages I’m receiving. The first is the red exclamation mark bubble which says “The site cannot be accessed”. I tried to follow the directions of another forum which instructed that one should uninstall jetpack and all other plugins by logging into a CPanel (bluehost) and disable/uninstall plugins one by one until it works again. However, when I get to step 4 in the link below, there is no “active plugins” row to be found, so I’m unsure of how to proceed here if that is the only fix.

On another note, there is also a error message saying “Error fetching plugins” when I click into ‘plugins’ on the wordpress admin dashboard.

I’ve tried disabling all the plugins and enabling only Jetpack and retrying.

I’ve tested my xmlrpc.php file and it looks good.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Jetpack to no avail.

I’ve made sure that when I uninstalled Jetpack, the directory for it in the plugin directory was also removed.

I used to be able to connect, but now cannot.

Jetpack has disappeared.
I wonder if it will make a difference if acccessing FTP, deleting file and reinstalling it?

But I was unsure of the main core of the problem..

The site still opens for some reason so it’s not the worst problem..but if this could be easily solved, I would be very much grateful.

I’m 99% positive it was an error in the theme functions, but I can’t access the theme functions to change the code now.

This site supports millions of our internal readers and I need it back up ASAP. Can someone please help?

PS – the site is internal due to confidential information, so I’m not sure that you would be able to access it.
