Is there a way to exclude archive posts from populating in the Similar Post section at the bottom of blog pages? All I can see is turning that section on or off, but no way to filter out certains posts.

I bought the Pro version, but found out ‘location’ and ‘address’ are t2 different things. I am using this for a doctor directory. Our doctors have multiple addresses, can I add more than one? For example; multi-address within one listing

Switching to WP Date and Time Shortcode from a similar plugin

WP Date and Time Shortcode is probably the best plugin (as much as we know) for displaying of date and time via shortcodes. If you see it as a better option with better features compared to other similar plugins you can easily switch to it. Just find and replace all your old date and time shortcodes with new ones.

For example, if you install Better Search Replace you can search and replace all old shortcodes with new ones in your posts, pages, widgets and so on. Just search and replace them one by one e.g:

[other_plugin1 phpdate="Y"] with [wpdts-year],
[other_plugin2_today] with [wpdts-date],
etc.

Please let us know if need help to convert a specific date or time shortcode from another plugin to WP Date and Time Shortcode and you don’t know how to do it.

There seem to be some issues with the portfolio bottom carousel

– If there are no similar portfolios, the title still shows
– If similar is set to default it does not work
– Similar only works if set on individual portfolios

You assitance greatly appreciated, and I have a feature request: Choose preliminary term (Recent, Other Similar etc) and then use primary category name

Hi, my name is frank, i’m using your plugin for a short time and I like it, but it isn’t what i need at all, i mean, the plugin works fine but i guess it could be better.

This plugin is limited to show similar post based on the title of the post, but i’m looking for a plugin to works as yours but based on same category, or tags, etc… I think this plugin has more potential.

Rounding issues with selecting images with same ratio

Apparently the crop editor rounds in some cases too much so that it doesn’t select images of same ratio (width and height must be integer), can there be an option for increasing the tolerance (just a bit) or making the rounding more tolerant or the ratio calculations different so it can select images with same ratio more reliably?

Similar Product Display Changing With Every View

I’m working on a WooCommerce site and the related products feature doesn’t seem to be working right. For example I just looked at one product in a category with 40 other products, when I opened the product page it listed 1 similar product, when I refreshed the page it showed 2 similar products, when I refreshed it again it didn’t have any similar products, after a couple of more refreshes that show either 1 or 0 products it then shows 3.

I realize you can set up sells and cross sells, and edit the amount of similar products it shows. But why would it change from 1 to 2 to 0 to 3 with every refresh in the span of 60 seconds, when no changes have been made to the site or products?

The site is loading slowly for a variety of reasons and I wonder if the query to pull similar products is timing out?

Hi,

is there a plugin, method or feature that will check for similar or duplicate listings on the submit listing page?

When someone enters a title for a new listing, the form should check for existing posts with similar or duplicate names.

The form would then display those listing or give the option to continue and create a new listing.
I have found that some business owners have resubmitted their business listing, even though it is already in the directory. The original listing may have been submitted by an admin or another user. This could be a great way to reduce duplicate submissions and get business owners to claim existing listings.
