I had to go into my settings in WordPress to remove the Site Title and Slogan, because they were showing up in the new banner, which obviously didn’t look good.
The problem I’m now facing, is that when Google indexes my site, or when I share posts on Facebook, my website is now showing up as “Blog Archive” now, instead of the intended name/title for my blog.
To see an example of this, click here, which is a link to Google results for my site. It should be the sixth-ranked result on the first page.
Is it possible to enter the title somehow so that it doesn’t show up in the banner, but it still shows up in Google and other places when I share my posts?
]]>It doesn’t appear to be so easy with this Silveray theme.
My questions:
1. Is it possible to replace the big olive/gray-colored banner with an image?
2. If it’s possible, how would I go about doing that?
3. How would I know the ideal pixel dimensions the replacing image would need to be to show up properly on the screen?
I don’t know if the issue is with the plug-ins, incompatibility with my SilveRay theme, or what.
Has anyone found a Related Posts Plug-in that works with WP 3.1.1? If so, what’s the name?
I normally have the SilveRay theme installed on my site, however to test to see if the SilveRay theme was the problem, I switched to the TwentyTen theme, and created a test post, making sure I had categories and tags attached to it that I knew I’ve used with previous posts, and still no luck.
Anyone have an idea of what’s going on? My next guess is that there’s a problem with another plug in I have activated, possibly?
I have the Efficient Related Posts plug in installed now, and there aren’t any other Related Post plugins installed or activated for my site.

]]>If you look at the image in the post, you will notice that the WordPress image caption box that normally shows up when you add caption to images is stripped.
Is this something simple to correct? If so, how do I do it? Thank you SO much for your time and consideration.

]]>Here’s one my post’s that you can check out as an example post of what I’m talking about.
I’m noticing that if I select the image, then click the left or right-align button, the image moves to the appropriate side, however the text below it in the post editor wraps the image. I don’t believe the right and left-align buttons were meant to work this way, are they?
I was actually trying to find a way to get text to wrap-around images before with another theme, so I tried to embrace this functionality for the time being in this post, but once I save the draft and preview the post, it removes spaces in the text.
For example, initially, from within the post editor, near the top of the post, there’s a line space between the words “perseverance” and “The path”, but when I save the draft and preview the post, the line space is removed.
Any idea how I can fix these two issues?
Thanks in advance for your help!
]]>I looked in the wordpress settings, and I don’t see a way to do it easily, I assume I will have to modify some code, just not sure where that code may lie, or what change I need to make. Thanks!
