I have three questions:

How can I translate the sidebar titles? I’ve changed the English titles in the sidebar.php and sidebar2.php files to something more fitting for my site, but I would also like to translate the titles into other languages. Polylang does not translate the titles unfortunately.

Is it possible to extent an image across the whole header?

Is it possible to remove the list tags from the menu items in the custom menu? I don’t know CSS so I don’t know what to delete and what to leave in.

I tried looking through the forums but I couldn’t find anyone with a similar issue.

QUESTION 1: I want to remove the big ugly words “PREVIOUS POSTS” from the top of my right sidebar for all of my posts https://www.buy-and-sell-cars-for-profit.com/pl/c1/ I don’t want a title in the sidebar of any of my Posts.

This is a paid theme called Product Launch WP Theme and before posts become live in the

scheduled

launch sequence they appear dimmed in the right sidebar and aren’t links. (This might not be the case when you look at that Post as I’m experimenting with the schedule.) When the post(s) reach the scheduled time in the launch sequence to appear then they are no longer dimmed and at that point become clickable links to the Posts.

NOTE: It’s crucial that removing the words “PREVIOUS POSTS” won’t disturb the launch sequence and the way the posts should appear in the right sidebar.

QUESTION 2: If you look at your browser tab for this Post https://www.buy-and-sell-cars-for-profit.com/pl/c3/ (and all of my Posts) you will see that it says “Blog Archive” in the browser tab. That isn’t the case with the Pages on this site as the Earnings page says “Earnings” in the browser tab like it should. Can someone please tell me why the browser tab for the Posts says “Blog Archive” and how I can change that, please?

QUESTION 3: How can I remove the shading at the perimeter of all of my Posts and Pages?

QUESTION 3: How can I remove the “Home” link from the footer of ALL Posts and Pages?

QUESTION 4: How can I make the Page links at the bottom of each Post and Page open in a new tab? (Earnings, Privacy, Terms)

I would like to customize my site a bit. I am usin Twenty Twelve theme and have made all my edits in a child theme.
What I am trying to achieve at the moment is to get that picture (https://helevalgus.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/watercolorbanner250v2.png) behind the sidebar title text, but adding background-image: url; to css doesn’t seem to do the trick. Sadly. I would just like to replace the current background-color with background-image. Ideally I don’t like the solution, where I would have to put images only for the titles. I would like to just get the background-image and have a text on top of it.
Any idea how to achieve this?

I would also like to get a custom image background to the menu navigation. Same thing, background-image is no use there. Why?

I’m using Pagelines DMS. I made a custom sidebar and put one (layerslider) widget in it. Then I put it into my site page by adding a DMS “Widgetizer” section. The custom sidebar’s widget has a title; or, I can give the widgetizer DMS section a custom title. Either way the title appears in the upper left hand corner of the sidebar and it’s white.

I want to 1) make the title horizontally center justified with respect to the sidebar (and at the top); 2) assign my choice of color to the title text; 3) change what h it is – h1, h2, h6, etc.

The layerslider people said this is a known issue, i.e., won’t own it.

So, please, how can I accomplish these things I’ve noted, being a non-developer non-professional-web-guru. It would be great if there were an option to choose, field to type something into, button to click.

I was able to figure out how to do it on a much older theme I use to have that was much less sophisticated by inserting the code “text-align:center;” in one of the sidebar code sets but it doesn’t seem to be so simple with the new theme I am using.

Some Final Thoughts

I’m pretty new to CSS. I’ve been playing around with it for a couple of days, and have made a lot of headway, but I’m struggling to find a solution to several remaining niggly problems. If anyone can help me resolve any of these things (especially the first one!), I’d be hugely grateful!

1) How can I make the home page container match the colour/transparency of the other pages?
2) How can I lighten the semi-transparent container on the site pages?
3) How can I make the footer and menu areas on all pages match the semi transparent container?
4) How can I centre the menu and the site title/tagline on the page?
5) How can I make the colour of the title text of sidebar items match the general text colour?
