Sidebar not Appearing

For some reason, sidebars not appearing on my theme, I’m using jnews theme.

I need sidebar appearing on all views of event calendar.

I also try to edit templates, but no luck.

How to resolve this?

Hello,
I am new to WordPress and I am currently working on my first site using OceanWP.
I need to make some custom sidebars depending on the subsites so i tried using Custom Sidebars Plugin to do that. The problem is, I cant get it to make a left sidebar, if i set my menu on the left, i don’t get any code with id=”left-sidebar”, only right worked for me, but i thought i could make it work by making it float on the left side. Guess I was wrong because it becomes problematic when someone tries to scale the page and the menu jumps to the right bottom corner. After that i got to know that OceanWP has it’s own Custom Sidebar plugin and i tried to use that but unfortunately i don’t know how to get to the menu depicted on this site:

If I understand it correctly, such menu should show when I try to edit a page but for me it opens a page with default WP Editor (I am using Elementor though). I thought that maybe the first plugin just doesn’t have the exact same names thats why it could not add the left sidebar but i don’t know how to check and change that and on the OceanWP Custom Sidebar i don’t know where the menu is located.

Hi there,

I use the calendar plugin for a site. It seems that after updating the calendar plugin to the latest version the sidebar on calendar pages misses completely ??

I do use quite some custom CSS, but it should be working. Right now even when an organizer and/or location is filled/set in the plugin, they don’t show in the sidebar; https://i.imgur.com/BLQiptA.png

Sidebar not working with WooCommerce

Hi,

I’m trying to use Custom Sidebars in my WooCommerce Shop pages to display product search, filters, etc. I have 1 category named “Punch” and 2 subcategories within that. I have followed other users’ suggestions as well as the directions provided by WooCommerce on how to include the custom sidebar in my shop pages, but my main sidebar still appears no matter what I’ve done.

I even changed my theme to the default Twenty Seventeen and the issue persisted. Here is a screenshot of my sidebar display settings. Thank you in advance!

Hi Friend,

I have the customizer set to show the sidebar on the right side for all WooCommerce pages using the Astra Pro theme.

It does show correctly in the Customizer for single product pages and it also shows correctly for the url:

Notice the ? at the end of the url.

I have my cache plugin disabled and checked in different browsers.

Please help.

I recently installed a this wordpress theme “Bloger” as it had a right sidebar and I want to put a few things into the sidebar e.g. author bio, recent posts, mailchimp form. I go to Appearance-Widgets and drag them over to the “right sidebar”. I fill out the widget details and when I click “save”, nothing changes on my site.

I have tried everything at this start and I just cannot understand why nothing is showing in my sidebar.

Please help!

Sidebars Not showing when selected

Hi there

Been using your plugin for years and I really appreciate the value you’ve added to the genesis framework.

This is the first time I’ve had this issue with this plugin and it seemed to work before I updated genesis and wordpress.

The issue is when I select the sidebar from the drop down in my edit page admin area it does not show that sidebar on the front end page after saving and refreshing.

Not much else to it, just seems to not be working. I have done a full stop plugins and work from the ground up to see whats causing it, but it still seems to happen

I’m using the Film Plus themes for magazines. I need to create a left sidebar for additional information we want to add to our site. In many places there are post about how to create it. Thing is, is in my widgets and I can add stuff in there, however, what I add it’s not showing in the site. There was a Social Box in that area which I just turned off. Who could help please??? I have someone waiting on an answer.
My site is www.latinzonemagazine.com ad I have verified php parameters where Left Sidebar exists. I think I only need one more thing so it shows in the page, but what is it? Which file I need to go to. Left Sidebar is already in files function.php as follows:

I added an HTML code to the sidebar widget, nothin g is showing on the site at that side of the page(s). Please help. Do I need to activate something? How could I do so?

Can’t get any sidebar to show anywhere. Using Jetpack. No code skills, Hired a web person who charged $160 and SHE could not figure out how to do it.
I want subscribe button, Rss feed, Categories, search, and blogs I’m following. Sorry, But I am AT THE END OF MY ROPE… Dragged these over to the sidebars after activating, and they are no where on the page. www.strokeofart.com LOVE this theme, just going crazy now its almost built and I can’t go on. help please anyone?
