v2.3 breaks popups

Since the update to v2.3 the plugin stopped creating popups properly. Unfortunately, because of a security issue, WP continuously updates from 2.2 to 2.3 and breaks the functionality every time.

What can I do to get v2.3 popups working?

Hi, customer of mine has just reported an issue whereby the team bio’s are showing HTML tags (strong and br tags), and some of the CSS also looks incorrect (linkedin icon is misaligned in its circle)

Has anything changed with this? Rolled the plugin back a few different versions and this hasn’t helped so not sure it was caused by an update but cant figure out what’s happened to it.

Like others – this plug-in automatically updated and then proceeded to not transfer any of the data that was connected to the old plugin. Lots of work to do to fix this….

All data lost after updating to new version 2.3.

Worst plugin I have seen ever, after updating to 2.3 version I have lost all my data. I have around 1000 entries before updating and lost everything, even categories also lost and name of short-code is also changed which this plugin provides.
After updating this plugin to new version this plugin is completely changed, the author of this plugin and url all things are changed. Even when I rollback this plugin to old version then, previous version 2.2.6 is completely removed from there. This is the main culprit, the plugin should maintain last version so that if users have problem in new version then they can rollback the version.
This is worst user experience they should at-least notify to admins via email about new version if all things is going to be changed.
I believe many user lost there data due to this.

After 2.3 update, all Teams data gone

After your 2.3 release, all teams data on the frontend of the website is completely gone and just showing shortcode. It appears that you drastically changed the plugin, apparently did zero testing (or didn’t care that users have auto-update set on plugins), and even worse, based on these topics it sounds like it wasn’t the first time. Couldn’t use the same database fields?! Are you kidding me? If you’re going to release an update that breaks everyone’s team data, how about requiring a manual update and letting everyone know first??

WP update breaks plugin features

It seems that plugin is only compatible up to WP version 6.4.5. After updating to any WP version later than that, some of the plugin’s features disappear like the search/sort filter and the linked popup pages. Is there a solution to this?

Unable to update from v2.2.4 to 2.2.6

I have two installations of this plugin and one is updated to 2.2.6 and the other is not. What’s strange is the 2.2.4 version doesn’t even show that there is a 2.2.6 version available. Any ideas how to fix this without losing and data?

We are redesigning our website and need to migrate all of the team members we have entered on our current website. I don’t see an obvious export/backup method in the plugin settings or other sections. Can you please let me know how this is can be done?

Reordering Team Members Deletes Field Data

Hello –

I have been using your plugin for quite some time, and overall it has worked great. However, I have run into an issue that I can’t figure out.

When I am on the backend and use the drag/drop functionality to reorder team members, any and all data that I’ve entered into the team member fields (free html, job title and email are the ones I’m using) disappears. This data is lost for all team members, not just the one(s) that I’ve reordered with the drag and drop.

I am running WordPress 6.4.2 and Team Showcase 2.2.4. Please let me know if there is any further information you need from me to investigate this. Any help or suggestions to resolve this issue would be much appreciated.
