When I am editing a post, the social media preview shows the featured image and text excerpt. However, when the post shares to Facebook automatically OR when I attempt to use the share button to share to Facebook, only the text excerpt appears with a blank box where the image should be.
I ran the debugger in Facebook and receive the message: “The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.” So it appears that the open graph image data is being stripped from the image or not applied at all.

Is there another way the plugin allows users to exclude content from lazy loading?
]]>How do I fix this?
The problem started when I downloaded ShortPixel and started using it. I have since deleted all data from the settings within ShortPixel, deactivated and deleted the plugin. However, I am still getting the message. The page url shows up as https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-shortpixel-settings, and before deleting ShortPixel the Autoptimize settings link led me to the ShortPixel settings page.
I have tried deactivating/reactivating Autoptimize, and removing/reinstalling the plugin, clearing the cache each time. I am unable to access any settings within Autoptimize.
Please help. I have another website with both plugins installed and everything is working fine. I set up ShortPixel the same way on both sites, but only this site is broken.
]]>We use ShortPixel on a WooCommerce webshop with PolyLang and multiple domains for each language.
Shortpixel fails to backup images that are uploaded to the secondary language (English – https://flowers-holland.com/). All images for the primary language (Dutch – https://debloemist.nl/) are working fine.
Both languages are hosted on the same server/hosting package and share the same uploads folder.
Do we need to apply different settings for each language or is ShortPixel out of the box compatible with PolyLang?
Thanks!
