Shortcode plugin creating fatal error

Hi-

I am using php 8.1 and have the most updated shortcode plugin installed, and it is causing a fatal error on the back end of a site, whenever we try to access plugins.php.

I have deactivated both the File Manager plugin and the shortcode plugin for the time being, but it is imperative that I get it up and running for my client asap as they rely on this plugin for sensitive file sharing through their site for about 100 people in their organization.

I have mailto links within code for Huge-IT gallery plugin.
They are not obfuscated.

As a more general question: can the plugin access and obfuscate email addresses hidden behind shortcodes?

This “plugin” for Hueman Addons only adds shortcodes, and then again, it doesn’t.

It adds the code so that the theme will actually take certain predtermined shortcodes. That’s it. No editing button to actually choose and use the shortcodes. No ON SITE, IN THE ADMIN PANEL list of shortcodes, no.

You have to go to the Customizr site, see the documentation (they don’t even provide a cheatsheet for reference in pdf form, for instance), then you have to REMEMBER every shortcode (or store them somewhere on your computer by saving their documentation page because they DO NOT provide a pdf for it) and go back to that every time you need a shortcode to copy-paste it. There is nothing “short” about that!

I mean, Hueman is a great theme, why can’t the plugin have a shortcode button in the editor toolbar like every other shortcodes plugins do!

Who would expect “normal users” to remember all those codes? Couldn’t the plugin at least provide a cheatsheet? I really don’t understand why it’s not a button in the editor toolbar.

Just saying… (even if it’s free, because I really, honestly don’t see the point of using the Hueman Addon plugin when there are tons of other better shortcode/social plugins out there).

Why is this plugin so minimalist when the theme is so great?

Fruitful shortcodes messed up paragraph spacing

Hi, when I updated the Fruitful Theme today I got a message saying that I needed to install the Fruitful shortcode plugin (Attention! Fruitful theme version 2.0 got major updates. You may have a problems with display content in shortcodes, because we created this part as plugin. You need install Fruitful Shortcodes and use them.) I activated it and then lost all my paragraph breaks in the whole site. When I disabled the plugin, the paragraph breaks came back to the way I want them. I hope having the shortcode plugin disabled doesn’t interfere with the functioning of my website in the future or is there something I need to do with the shortcode to keep the paragraph breaks intact? Thanks.

Shortcode compatability option

Hi, I watched the video for the shortcodes ultimate plugin and it shows the option of selecting compatibility mode that adds a “g” and an underscore in the shortcode so that it will not conflict with other plugins/themes that use shortcodes. There is no compatibility option that I can find for this.

Shortcode for Post Title in Content

I need to create a shortcode to return the post title in the body of the content.

with PHP enabled returns what I want, but it gets stripped by WP and is a security risk to enable PHP.

1) is there a Shortcode generator plugin for PHP functions?

2) what would be the specific code for functions.php to make this work?
