I want to use this plugin with “Show sharing buttons.” option unticked on a page (so that the sharing buttons appear where I want, not at the end of the page). Is there anyway to achieve this? I only want to show sharing buttons once in my intended place using your plugin (and hide the default one that appears at the end of the page). Thank you in advance for your advice.

Great on desktop; Fails on Mobile

I don’t hate it. I am using it until I find a better alternative. The reason being – it opens browsers on mobile too. People don’t login on mobile browsers and those “could-be” shares are lost. I want Shareoholic to open apps instead of browsers on mobile phones. I contacted support few months ago and there has been no response. Support is non-existent for the free version users. I’d buy it if it opens mobile apps instead of browsers on phones.

I’m using a plug-in that provides social media buttons for sharing, but I would like to be able to get rid of that plug-in and simply use the sharing buttons provided by jetpack. The problem is, it looks like those sharing buttons only show up at the bottom of the post. There are lots of helpful options available to edit the buttons. I’m surprised there is not an option to have the buns at the top of post, bottom of post, or both. Could that be added?

At the end of each blog post there are 3 sharing icons (Fb, Twitter, Mail), how can I edit or delete them? I can’t find any settings in WP-

Sharing Button causing error in serach console

I recently received an email from search console that my blog pages have have been indexed though blocked by robot.txt.

When I investigated further I observed that all the links have ?share=facebook, ?share=reddit, and ?share=email towards the end and I realized the fault is from the sharing buttons.

When I disable the sharing buttons from jetpack settings and test live the urls, the error goes away.

What could be the caused? Please I need it fixed urgently because of all sharing buttons it’s that of jetpack that I prefer.

How to Remove the Screen Reader Text?

How can I remove the screen reader text section from Jetpack social sharing buttons? I want to remove it on a PHP level instead of using CSS to hide it so that it won’t be on the source code of the page. I found that it is stored in $text variable in the file sharing-sources.php.

Also, I want to permanently change the title of the sharing buttons from “Click to share on Twitter” to just “Twitter”, Facebook, Pinterest, etc…

Can you please provide functions for these two things that I can paste in my functions.php file so that when the plugin gets updated the changes will stay.

Note: The reason for these two things is that I recently got a problem with a search engine that identifies these links as Keyword stuffing or something because the same words are repeated on all the sharing buttons. I know that it is a clear mistake from their end not being able to identify such texts. But just don’t want to take a chance.
