I can’t locate a sha checksum for either one.
Seems odd. I’m used to verification checksums being available for downloaded software, and I always check before installing.
Perhaps that is considered no longer important?
If such are still being provided, would appreciate being pointed to location
-thanks!

Thanks for pointing to the right direction for me as a WordPress noob it was quite easy to implement custom encryption method.

]]>I was using a different platform that uses md5 or sha256 for password encryption.
In wordpress, I imported user data from a csv file (about 10K users),
but obviously the users won’t be able to login because of encryption differences.
My idea was:
Wordpress checks if user typed password matches the md5/sha256 encrypted one, grants access and encrypts user typed password to wordpress hash.
Is this possible? If yes, how?
Thanks in advance, any little kind of help or alternative advices would be greatly appreciated. I’m totally lost.
Have a great day. Thank you.

Alberto.

]]>I have a site using your plugin and PayPal for payments.
I recently got an email from PayPal saying they were moving from SHA2 to SHA246 security and all SSL certificates had to be updated etc.
I was just wondering how this would affect the use of your plugin especially on sites without SSL / HTTPS domains?
Obviously you have a page to receive IPN messages from PayPal. What happens with these new changes to sites without an SSL certificate? Will they still be able to get IPN notifications of payments from your plugin?
Thanks
Rob
