I have getting this issue, I setup the plugin everything looks like perfect, but the email test never get sent and the alert on the dashboard to setup the plugin always still there.

I can’t get even get past adding a mail group. No matter the settings I am returned either a timeout error or a “Test Again” button. I’m on a shared Bluehost server with SSL and have tried every permutation of credentials, and beyond, to connect to the mailserver. I can’t imagine what I’m doing wrong, having followed the instructions from https://www.wpmailinggroup.com/faq/quick-start-in-6-steps/.

What bit of information am I lacking to solve this problem?!

Here is an issue
After setting up plugin and manually creating necessary folders,I cannot get information form help area I cannot open “Setting up SSL” area
So i cannot setup a sever.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I have been trying to get the plugin to work for a few hours but nothing suggested has worked.

Issue:
On the setup page I click on ‘connect’ and a mailchimp login popup opens up. I successfully enter my account details and it logs in.

The pop up window closes and the WP – MailChimp setup page refreshes but not setup options display. It still says connect.

What I have done:
I’ve tried disabling all plugins, clearing caches, opening on other browsers / computers / network with no joy.

I have spoken to my hosts – to whitelist https://sopresto.socialize-this.com, 50.97.194.22 and 50.23.108.137. They confirmed that they are not blocked – they did ask if this plugin did loop-back connections? (this is where a script opens a connection to the internet, only for it to loop back to the same server the script itself is running from) as they don’t allow that?

Any suggestions?

I am a very new user and saw the background on Social Media Feather and thought it would be “perfect” to allow me to post Blog content on my WordPress site and then social media feather will populate the same content to my FB, G+, LI, Tw accounts.

I have populated my site info for the above social media sites (share +Follow) on the Social Media Feather Plugin but nothing is working?

Am I assuming some greater functionality? How do I get this to work?

wp-admin first time not working

hi all, I’ve just started to setup a new site. I got to the point where i went to sitename.com/wp-admin to setup the account login details etc and it juts gives me an update page, when i click ‘continue’ it sends me to another one of my wordpress sites. I have downloaded the new version of wp tonight. Any help would be great.

Hello, i just installed wp 3.3.1 manually on my domain, after running i get this ERROR message:

I tryed to install it three times, but still same problem.

Dashboard not loading properly

Hi, I have been trying to install and use a wordpress website, but I am having issues with loading the Dashboard, it does not load properly and when I click on any of the links I get an error, e.g. in the admin view clicking on the Post link gives this error.

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.bigbluemagic.com/wordpress/wp-admin/edit.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.

I load the wordpress files to our hosted server through FTP(filezilla) and created the wp-config.php file using the wordpress setup-config.

If you need any more information please let me know, thank you for your help.
