We are getting a “Sorry, your session expired” error when trying to checkout. BUT it seems to only affect mobile. We’ve isolated it to your plugin.
Steps we took:
We found that it’s the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin. If you opt out/uncheck the box to sign-up during checkout, it throws the “session timed out” error. If you leave the checkbox checks/opt-in, the checkout processes normally.
I can provide you an admin user to access our test environment. Just let me know what email address.
]]>How can a session expire for Unidentified and not authenticated? And i see no login for that user?
Session Expired. User session has expired (RealUserName). Logging out.
]]>I hope you can help. I am getting sporadic “session expired” warnings and customers baskets emptying on my store. This is something I haven’t been able to replicate reliably enough to do any sort of plugin conflict test as it doesn’t always happen.
I have checkout and basket set to not cache in my caching plugin as I have read that this may be the cause but would you be able to help me figure out what is causing the issue?
Thanks
]]>I dont get this error on safari and chrome BUT on opera (cookies activated)
Anyone can tell me what is causing this error?
I also troubleshooted this thing with a different theme and plugins turned off.
]]>When visiting the MalCare website everything is fine and working. I can still access the ‘Account Details’ in the plugin, but can’t access the ‘Settings’ page.
]]>For 2 days everything worked fine. But on the 3rd day, while I was working, I got a message which said: “Your session has expired. Please log in again”. But after that, I couldn’t log in again. Whenever I enter the password the page said that my password is wrong. I have re-checked the password with my client, but still, we were unable to log in to that site. My client blamed me for this and I had to refund him, which was quite natural.
I still cannot understand how the password got changed and why did I get a “session expired” message.
I have already asked this question on wordpress.com, but they suggested me to post it here since our site was hosted using a custom WordPress installation. I hope that the experts will look into this problem.
I have recently started to experience an issue on my checkout page.
Customers can add items to their basket no problem. They can then get to the checkout no problem but as soon as they try to select the country they want their item shipped to or put in a post code or any input that makes the page think about the shipping the screen immediately changes to a screen with “Sorry, your session has expired. Return to shop” and it empties the basket.
The change to the Session Expired screen happens almost the instant the checkout starts to think about the shipping (I assume it’s thinking about shipping).
I use Printful and their plugin “Printful Integration for WooCommerce” and thought the problem lay with them. But they claim anything that goes wrong with the checkout is a WooCommerce issue.
I have been through and disabled every Plug-in I have running and turned only WooCommerce back on – it allowed me to update all fields in the checkout no problem.
Then turned ‘Printful integration for WooCommerce’ plugin on (so only two plugins are running) and when I go to the checkout the error happens again.
In my head (Although it is a laymans head) that would indicate that the problem lies with the Printful plugin.
Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?
Thanks
Steve
In english: “Sorry your session has expired”
And then all session data is removed and user has to start purchase process again and again and never can make purchase.
After tring several things, I disabled your plugin and then it was solved. I’ve tried many times so I can say that your plugin is the problem.
?Could you please check this?
Thanks
