WP-CONFIG Not updating with host name

Hi all,

I’ve been following the steps to install wordpress on my names.co.uk domain. I’ve created the user and the database and changed the wp-config file and renamed it but the first time I got the host name wrong.

My issue is that every time i update the file it does not change for the message that appears when i navigate to wp-admin/install.php:

‘Error establishing a database connection. This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql6.namesco.net. This could mean your host’s database server is down.’

The name of the server is not updating. I think causing the ‘Error establishing database connection’.

Any ideas?

Database Server Name is wrong in wp-admin

I’ve found the GoDaddy server name and entered it into my wp-config.php file. When I attempt to run wp-admin it gives an error saying it cannot contact a server name different than what is listed in the GoDaddy MySQL cpanel.

Hello,

I can’t see the Technorati’s links at my Latest Activity. When I install WP, I was in other name server and change to the new but the links don’t show.

What’s happening? There are any file to edit and update the name server?
