old wp-admin after move to new server same domain

Hi,
We moved from an OVH to a Siteground server, keeping the same domain, same url etc.
The domain DNS have been modified to point to the siteground dns.
Everything is fine except that the WP-Admin page points to the old ovh server and not to the new SiteGround one (so no Siteground plugins etc).
By the way the front end page ([ redundant link removed ]) is pointing correctly to siteground hosted page.

WP Ultimate CSV Importer Stopped Working

Hey!

I have been using WP Ultimate CSV Importer for a few weeks while building a new site and found it amazing. It has been used to import 106,000 posts into my WP install, however our site grew too big for the server resulting in us moving to another VPS from the same host.

Now we are on the new server and try to use it we run into an issue – the script accepts the CSV file ok, maps the table to the correct fields, however when you click import nothing happens.

I am getting the ‘Your Import Is In Progress…’ message but nothing else.

I used to import about 50 rows per server request, and have tried this and even 1 row per request with no avail.

I have tried removing the plug-in and re-installing, also with no avail.

Could anyone help?

New domain name and web server, page 404s

We are obliged to change hosting service. In the process of preparing for the move, I have transferred the site to the new hosting under another domain name. The new server is under Plesk, which I am as yet unfamiliar with.

Because the website had many static pages before I got there, I have WordPress running under a 2nd level directory. The “home” page is just a page that links to two pages that use the bbpress and calendar plugins.

Clicking those links lead to 404 responses.

I can log in to the admin dashboard. The setup for the plugins looks as I think it should. I was even able to update to the latest versions of bbpress and calendar. I also have access to the database via phpMyAdmin.

What have I done wrong?

Site Moving Error

In my local system i installed sparkling theme in wordpress and created child theme for it. This was working Fine.After i completing my works i moved files into server .Updated wp-config files and updated siteurl,home in wp_options table.But this not works.Gives error “Fatal error: Call to undefined function sparkling_header_menu() “.Please Help

Related Posts Not Displaying After Server Move

After switching to a new VPS (I migrated from a DreamHost VPS to DreamHost’s DreamPress WordPress-specific hosting with Varnish caching), related posts no longer display at the bottom of my blog posts, even after clearing the varnish cache/my browser cache and manually reindexing posts in Jetpack debugger (debugger returns no errors). DNS/URL didn’t change.

Solutions tried:
* Deactivating/reactivating Jetpack
* Deleting and reinstalling Jetpack
* Deleting and reinstalling both my parent theme and child theme (Twenty Fourteen)
* Turning off child theme and using a clean install of the Twenty Fourteen theme (related posts still didn’t show up)
* Switching back to my old Twenty Eleven child theme (where related posts was working before the server move)
* Reinstalling the current version of WordPress
* Restarting my VPS
* Checking functions.php/style.css on child theme for anything out of place (nothing immediately obvious)
* Deactivating any new plugins installed since the server move (related posts were working before then on a Twenty Eleven child theme)
* Turned on WP_Debug and ran my theme through Theme Check plugin to check for errors (none)

I cleared the Varnish cache after each change.

Additional information:
* Other Jetpack modules, including sharing, are working fine.
* For no apparent reason, my admin bar also fails to display on single post pages (and only on single post pages–it shows on homepage/stand-alone pages), even when I’m logged in (the footer tags that usually call it are in place)
* I’ve made no changes to single.php in my child theme.

Any help that you could provide would be very much appreciated!

Moved server – suddenly lots of spam comments?

Hi there, I’ve been to Google and searched the forums here but I can’t seem to see anyone else talking about the same issue.

We’ve just merged two of our servers and moved elsewhere, and changed IP. There’s quite a few WordPress websites hosted. Since moving, we are suddenly receiving dozens of spam comments with “Please moderate” emails.

I find it hard to believe it’s a coincidence since moving server.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.

Server move

Hi,
after trying to copy a wp driven site using cpanel and having no joy I installed a fresh copy and got the usual home page and log in page and management area as you should.
I then imported the old database into the new and despite phpadmin saying all went well, and a check being all ok, all I get is a blank home page now.
Any suggestions would be greatly received as to how to get things up and running.
Many thanks in advance.

Trying to Move WordPress site from one provider to GoDaddy

i’m doing something wrong but not sure where to go from here. I am totally unfamiliar with WordPress and basically i am trying to move the site from 1 provider to GoDaddy, i backed up the Database and site via phpadmin, installed wordpress on the GoDaddy site. Tested the base site and saw the generic start page. Then tried to import the exported database through phpadmin and it is crashing. My plan was to import the database and then the site and adjust the wp-config.php file and hopefully that would work. below is the error i get during the import process:
