Need plugin to manage sermons on church website

I need to find a plugin to index MP3 files for sermons on a church. Website. I can’t seem to find what I am looking for.

What I would like:

-Be able to point the plugin at an existing folder full of MP3’s and have it index all the MP3’s in it for display using the MP3tags.
-Be able to add MP3’s in an ongoing basis by either FTP’ing them to that same folder or by uploading through the plug in.
-Be able to play the MP3’s live from the site.
-Have a download button to allow visitors to automatically download them.
-Have a filter to drill down by date or speaker.
-Have the plugin auto generate the XML file needed for our podcasts.

Right now, I have just transitioned to a WP site from a hand-coded site, so have just copied the current sermon display tables over. I want to have something easier to manage.

I also have been building the XML file from scratch every time it needs updated.

We have over 2000 MP3 files in our library.

Change SERIES / SERMON text

I am using the shortcode [list_sermons taxonomy=”wpfc_sermon_series” order=”DESC” orderby=”id”] and is displays “SERIES / SERMON”. Is there a way to change this to “SERIES / MESSAGES” please?
Any help much appreciated.

Fatal Error with latest update

Hello, hope someone can help.

After updating I received a fatal error and cannot access my wp dashboard normally. Through recovery mode I can deactivate the app and get in again. I am currently running:

WordPress version 5.5
Current theme: Jupiter Child Theme (version 5.9.2)
Current plugin: Sermon Manager for WordPress (version 2.16.1)
PHP version 7.0.33

In recovery mode I see the following message under your plugin:

Where the sermons are normally listed only shows the shortcode (while plugin is active). For now, I have deactivated the plugin so I can work in my dashboard.

Import from sermon browser

Hi,
I’m wanted to export my files from sermon browser and import them onto sermon manager – same host, but different wordpress site / domain. I want to keep the podcast feed from being interrupted and ensure sermons from now are added to the existing podcast.

Please could you advise the best way to do this? I see you can import from sermon browser, but I can’t see an option to export from sermon browser.

Worst case – I don’t mind re-adding the latest sermon series and starting again, so to speak, on sermon manager on the new website. But my priority is not to interrupt the podcast feed. Could you explain how this could work…?

I’m using the shortcode [sermon images] and want to change the size of the image to make it smaller. However the suggest shortcode size=”sermon_small” doesn’t seem to make any difference. Could you advise?

Hi,
I’ve used the shortcode that displays sermon series. However, when you click on it, the page is entitled “archive” and the banner at the top is empty.
Is it possible to change this title to the name of the sermon series, and be able to display the sermon series image to go with it at the top?
as seen in the link given.

Why do I get the following error “You do not have the correct permissions to edit sermon” when I try to delete a sermon?

I just updated to the latest version 0.45.21

Is there a specific place I need to adjust permissions? I’m currently logged in with the Administrator account.

Sermon Shortcode image problem

Recently I have had an issue with images that are associated with the sermon.
The image is in wide around 940*400 but ends up shrinking and cutting off the sides in the sermon archive.
I have looked at the coding but not sure what part to edit to make this right.

Can anyone give suggestions on what I should do . Or if anyone has any suggestions on any improvments that would be great.
