I’m hoping to figure out a way to display separate pages for different groups of badges. For instance, I would like to have a page to house student badges, and a page to house faculty badges.
The current page looks like this: https://ccc.coastal.edu/index.php/achievements/
Anyone have any suggestions on this?
Thank you,
Alan

]]>I would like to create a long form (multiple-step) calculation, using more than 40 fields in a complex calculation. I would prefer to create separate forms and give the user an option to perform separate calculations or give them the option to complete multiple steps in the calculation, broken down by section, on different pages.
This would be my preferred method for allowing users to perform calculations. For example, on one form, the user could calculate a simple calculation for Return on Investment… and then the user could have the option to proceed to the next steps (linking the first result in the calculation to subsequent steps) performing a more in depth calculation, with the ROI value automatically entered into the 2nd step (2nd form on a different page)in the calculation… the second form would return the ROI value of the first calculation and then the user would enter data in additional fields to calculate the second calculation… then they could proceed to the third step, returning the value of the second calculation as a function of the third calculation… and so on. If this operation must be completed on one page, it could be overwhelming for the user, so I would like to explore two alternatives to break up such a long calculation into multiple steps, on multiple pages:
(1) Preference is to link multiple forms together, where subsequent forms (steps in the calculation) would utilize value(s) calculated in previous forms as a function of subsequent forms, for a more in depth calculation, should the user choose to proceed.
(2) Alternatively (2nd preference) would be to create one long calculation (more than 40 fields in one form) and break up sections of the calculation into multiple pages… but all fields and calculations would be associated with one form. The problem with this is some users may wish to skip step 2, for example, and move on to step three of the calculation.
Again, I have searched for a solution in the forums and have not found an answer to this problem. This is an outstanding plugin and if I get it to work properly, I will definitely support what you have developed.
Thank you!

]]>There is definitely a way to achieve this effect. I used a theme called “SingleKey” which has this functionality built into it, but now I am having trouble trying to duplicate the effect using your plugin (I’ve also tried Malihu’s “Scroll to id” plugin), because once directed away from the home-page, the “#id” links are unable to take you back!
Here is a working example that I achieved using SingleKey theme:
https://www.whiterockselfstorage.com
You will notice on that majority of the content scrolls on one page, the homepage, but you can successfully navigate away to the https://whiterockselfstorage.com/pay-online/ and back to the scrollable homepage.
Is there any way to achieve this using your plugin? Please, let me know!
This is the example of that I am using your “Easy Scroll” plugin on right now…
When I navigate away from the homepage to my projects pages under my “Sample of Properties,” my navigation menu, which uses the “#id” to find the DOM elements, is unable to go back and find the element on the homepage.
For example, when I navigate to https://intercityinvestments.com/project/shoppes-lovers/ I am unable to use any of the other menu-links in my top navigation bar. This seems like a pretty common type of set up, to use the one-page scrolling layout on the homepage, while still having other separate pages, so I was hoping you had a simple solution!
THANK YOU

]]>I have interests in several areas, planning to start blogs on these diverse subjects and want to arrange this in a logical way. There are probably two ways to do this – set up a “root level” page with subpages per subjects, or simply totally separate pages. My subjects might be basically these:
– About myself. CV, contact info, etc. Could be that “root” page.
– Community blogs, comments and opinions.
– Hobby (amateur radio) blogs and info.
– Teaching page, for material I use in part time college teaching.
– Professional page (engineering), relating to my job.
I am starting to set up my WordPress web, but first I would appreciate suggestions on how I should structure these diverse pages – all under one “master” or “root” page, or just keep them entirely separate and unconnected?
Best regards – Kristinn
]]>I have numerous blog posts on my Health Articles page on my website and they all have different urls which I like, however in the search engines as well as if someone shares an article in Facebook, the article will show up on a different page not connected to my website at all. Here is an example: https://perfecthealthconsultingservices.com/blog/2013/03/24/addiction-a-spiritual-wake-up-call/
As you can see my website is not attached to the article/surrounding it. My website is www.perfecthealthconsultingservices.com My wordpress is only on my Health Articles page, the rest of my website is flash. Is there any way to keep my blog posts on the same page attached to my website instead of them coming up on separate pages without my website attached? I still want to keep different urls for each blog post. Thanks for your help!
]]>On a site I run I’d like to have a small snippet of HTML display in the sidebar. Nothing fancy, just a bulleted list of hrefs. The text, though, needs to be different for each post.
The reason I don’t want to use Widget Logic is that there are 52 posts and by the end it’s likely to be 150 or so. That means I’d have to create 150 widgets, each one unhelpfully labeled “Text”, and then try to keep them straight. My theme (Alyeska) offers custom sidebars, but that seems even more unwieldy. Instead of 150 widgets I’d have 150 sidebars.
So I know how to do it, I was just wondering if there was a more elegant way of doing this. On another site, I use a plugin called Random Text that allows you to enter separate HTML entries that are saved within the plugin’s database, and then displays a random entry wherever the widget is placed. That’s what I’m really looking for: a widget that lets me say “hey plugin, put entry 63 from your database on this post’s sidebar”.
My questions:
1. Anyone familiar with a plugin like this?
2. If I have to go with 150 widgets, what would that do to my site performance? Obviously the Widget page would load slower, but how about the rest of the backend or the frontend?
3. I know there are also ways to do this with code, but unless it’s something that I can set up once and mostly ignore, I’m not really that interested. Not because I’m scared of coding, but because I don’t care about having this functionality enough to write a block of code every time I post a new entry.
Thanks in advance for your help!
