Cannot Update Yoast SEO settings – Meta description to use for Author page

I am the owner of our site and have full admin access. Recently, when trying to update an author profile using Yoast SEO Settings under ‘Users’ menu item, I repeatedly encounter 403 forbidden errors. The file permission for profile.php is set correctly as 0644 – as the owner I should have permission.

I disabled all plugins and cleared the browser cache. Still the error persists. There are no related errors in the server log and we do not have ModSecurity enabled in cPanel.

Can anyone provide any insights please?

SEO Settings page dissapears

When I select “SEO Settings”, the page loads for about one second and then the content vanishes (leaving a blank page). This happens if I click “SEO Settings” from the menu bar or try to access any of the SEO Settings drop-down menu items.

All the other areas of the dashboard work fine, “Overview”, Research…etc, just not “SEO Settings”.

I’m using Squirrly SEO 2019 (Strategy) version 9.1.04

I configured Yoast SEO correctly, the page code displays open graph functions, but when I enter facebook or twitter it does not display any of the information registered.

I tested the page in the Open Graph Debug and it reports the following information to me:

– The “og: image” property must be provided explicitly, even if a value can be deduced from other tags.

– The two required properties are missing: og: url, og: type, og: title, og: image, og: description, fb: app_id

How do i fix it?

Hi,

I am currently using “All in One SEO” plugin in my current theme (twenty eleven theme). I am afraid I will lose all my SEO settings when I change my theme to OnePress. Will this happen or is there any solution via a plugin? I checked “SEO Data Transporter” plugin but OnePress doesn’t seem to be supported…

Unable to access YOAST SEO SETTING

Hello,Just installed the latest free version of Yoast SEO.
I use the latest WordPress and I use LAYERS.
Strangely I can’t access the SEO settings such
-Titles& Metadata
-Social
-XML Setting
-Advanced
-Tools
Each time I try I have this message
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page
What I doing wrong ?
I am the administrator
Is this because I Use Layers?
Please assist me

insufficient permissions to access SEO settings

The upgrade from 2.3.4.2 to 2.3.5.1 failed for me. I had to remove the all-in-one-seo-pack plugin folder manually and install 2.3.5.1 again which worked second time. Now when I click “SEO Settings” under “All In One SEO Pack” on the Plugins page I get the error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

Have tried logging out & in again including logging in using a different browser. Tried deactivating & re-activating the plugin. Also tried a number of steps on the “how-to-troubleshoot-issues-with-all-in-one-seo-pack” page. Can’t see any debug errors.

I’ve also noticed I get the same error on other sites I look after which are still on 2.3.4.2. I have been able to see settings in the past. Settings for other plugins can still be reached.

ps: all my administrator accounts are created with role ID: ndp_administrator and role name: Administrator in case that may cause any problems. It doesn’t appear to affect anything else, only this plugin.

In the various options when I publish a post using the SEO plugin, does it increase my chances that the post will get hits through Google and other search engines if I leave the SEO Title section/box blank or insert a title there? I’m desperately trying to get more hits on my posts being that I don’t have an advertising budget.
