I have a question about the select field in a form. How can i know what the user selected value is before form is submitted. In other words, is there a way to get the selected value when a user presses on one of the options.

Hello,

I have a forminator pro form that contains three select fields. The select fields options should be filled from the database of other form submissions and also based on the option selected in the previous select field. For example, assume that I have select A, select B. Select A is filled by name of restaurant from the database then select B should be filled based on the selection made in select A and from the Database. So, My question is how can I make like an event listener to know which option is chosen in select A to be able to update the list of option of select B?

Now not able to insert values in Select Fields with upper and lower case text and spaces which has been possible in the past. I have checked several websites and they are all the same. Currently on Version 1.15.2. Would also be better for the fields to not automatically enter a value – in the past I have found this to be very annoying!

Change “Press to select” text on select elements

Product variants – select field design

Hi there,
for my shop I want to use product variants. for example I want to offer a t-shirt with 3 variants:
variant 01: Size (S, M, L) -> no additional costs
variant 02: Quality (3 different qualities) -> additional costs
variant 03: Design (several layouts) -> no additional costs

Now to my “problem”: I want to style the select fields exactly as it is in this screenshot:

01. the “size”-field: no problem, all good here
02. the “quality”-field: different styling of the text within the select fields (font-weight, font-size)
03. the “design”-field: implement different text+images as selection

Do you know a good solution? As far as I know this is not possible with the variable product type within the woocommerce standard product descriptions. I’ve checked a few plugins but no one provide exact that options i wanna have. Does anybody have an idea how to solve this? thanks in advance!

Hi, I need to have “Text” and “Select Drop-down” fields options while creating questions?
Currently I can see only 3 type of field options

Is there any chance for new fields addition in next update?
One more feature request is to move next question when user press “enter” key?

Syntax Off as of last night – constant contact

I have my forms set up with the constant contact integration and the syntax for a select menu set up for “your-company-name” but it’s now populating CC with the job_title instead of company_name. If i reverse the select field syntax in CC7 to “your-job-title” it populates the company_name attribute in CC.

Condtional Forms only react on select-fields?

Do I get it right and does these conditional steps only react on content in “select”-fields?

What I mean is this. I have groups to show or hide depending on data retrieved from a database. These data I put in a dynamic hidden field as for instance:
[dynamichidden vhv_bedlinen “yes” ]. This is written in the beginning of the cf7-form and previously loaded by the calling page.

But the statements vhv_bedlinen ‘yes’ or ‘no’ are both ignored. No group is shown. When I make a select-field it works as desired. But I cannot make a select field. The question (select field) ‘do you want bedlinen for this vacation home’ is unnecessary when no bedlinen is available.

Did I do something wrong or is my first sentence right, Conditional Forms is only working with ‘select’-fields.

Add special posts and specify fields included

Is there a way to add special post types (like Calendar Events) and specify what fields get included?

I’m interested in adding Calendar Events with their date/time and location information to goth a general newsletter and to send just Calendar Events in an automated newsletter.

It doesn’t look like I can attach special post types yet. Even if I could I would want the date/time and location information to be included.

Overall good plugin. They were missing support for importing to select fields and importing to repeatable group fields, but they worked with me and got me modified files to support both.

So the plugin gets 4 stars as is, but the support gets 5 stars. I hope they rollout the features they gave me into their next release, even though their quick fix for me was custom for my app. I hope they find a way to make it universal so everyone can use those features.
