Second row of tabs not displaying media correctly

I have an issue where I have a number of tabs with a video embedded underneath each one. Where there are too many tabs to fit on one row horizontally, they create a second row of tabs underneath; I don’t mind the look of that, but none of the videos under the tabs in that second row embed correctly, and I don’t know why.

Where’s the second row of my edit controls gone?!

This is odd.

The second row of editing options is not visible when I try and edit posts.

I did some searching, and there should be three dots on the right of the icon bar, but there’s just four arrows for distraction free editing…

I’m up to date with all plugins and WP itself.

Anyone got any ideas?

Fine-tuning the menu

Dear all,

I would like to adjust some things on my menu, please see these two pics to have an idea of the menu:

What I want to change:

I’d like to have a second (grey) row with the 7 items in the submenu. The second row should be attached and always visible. When hovering over to “Deutsch”/”Espanol”/etc the second row should not change. The second row only changes after “Deutsch”/”Espanol”/etc was clicked.
How do I change the “hover-colour” from blue into the light-green that is already on the pic.

Any help is very appreciated!

Hide featured boxes on the frontpage

On the front page, how do I hide the second row with featured boxes?
I have removed the pictures and text in the backend. The row does not show in Firefox or chrome, but it is still visible in explorer. Is there a fix for this issue?
