]]>is there a way to use the wp-searchfunction (as standard on the sidebar) in a single page? How does that work?
]]>I have been using WordPress for a while now and have gone to the next level actually customising things for better use of our blog.
We currently are trying to build a link database for our blog and of course I was wondering about usability.
Here’s my idea and I was hoping to get some input on how it would be possible (or not) to realise:
– write up a new search page
– limit the search only to the mysql table called ‘wp_links’
– tagging the links with keywords that will be searched by the new search function
How would I have to do this? Is there a plugin I missed during my seach?
I am sorry if you think that this is a silly question or if it’s a php question, but since I am not sure how to write something like this, I obviously cannot say what kind of question it is… logic.
Thank you very much for every help you’re willing to offer me.
PS: https://mediaevaliter.com/links you can see the link page as it is now
]]>after finally upgrading one of my weblogs to 2.02 i figured out that the search function is not working any more. the behaviour is that if i submit a keyword i get an empty result page which shows just the title.
i’ve allready tried to repair all database tables via mysqladmin but it seemed as there has been no problem. after a couple of hours i’m losing my energy. – any ideas?
thx berny
