I currently have a google ajax search box there but it doesn’t work properly.

I am not using a sidebar or widgets either,

Problem with Search Everything after upgrade

I recently upgraded to WordPress 2.7 and also upgraded the Search Everything plug-in and now it isn’t working. Specifically, it is not searching the custom fields like it is set up to do. Has anyone else had any problems with this after upgrading?

hey dan, i install your plugin in my theme, althoug i see its working fine, i notice i have a problem in my second added sidebar which has a “recent posts” widget in it. it all works fine, until i press tyhe search button and the plugin shows the results ok, but suddenly, the second sidebar has not only the ‘recent posts’, but also all the ‘pages’ listed in the same “widget” part of the sidebar. any idea?

Hello,
After uploading plugin at plugin folder and activating same through wp-admin -> plugins..At Setting -> Search Everything there is a way to configure but it is not mentioned there about how to point it from your new page or post.Please let me know.

I downloaded and installed search everything but i can’t find the options in WordPress to configure it. Is it to search from within WordPress admin? Or is there a widget for people to search the site?

I have been trying to get some sort of search functionality on my blog. And let me start by saying I’m totally new to this, but I am usually able to search and find solutions to most problems online, but when it comes to the Searcheverything plugin for WordPress I haven’t been able to find anywhere how to get the thing on to my sidebar. I am able to install the plugin and get it to work the way I want, but how the hell do I get it to actually show on my blog and now just in Site admin?

I assume this is a total newbie question since I am unable to find any instructions on how to do this. This must mean that everyone else knows how to do it without having to ask.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

I’m using (or trying to use) Search Everything (4.7.6.2) at my website.

I also use it on another website – without any problem.

When you search https://www.ascheberg-info.de/?s=friseur you’ll get “Keine Fundstelle” which means “Nothing found”.

But this can be found at
https://www.ascheberg-info.de/internetlinks/friseure/

To be exact: I can’t find anything. Try whatever you want. Navigate through the whole site. Copy any word you like. Try to find it…

NOTHING!

Any idea what I can try or do?

After the upgrade to 4.7.5 I cannot search anything…. It tries but results = 0

Any idea??
