Is there a way to get searches to return links that point to the relevant part of the page?
]]>I’ve added search to a menu. When I enter a term and hit return, the page with the search results is in the “default template” which is a blog page style. The rest of the site uses the “front page” template, so this looks out of character.
How do I change the search page template?
Thanks!

Here’s an example of a search that produces an excerpt with a featured image that’s awkwardly cropped: https://jimkleinfilmmaker.com/mar2017wp/?s=truck
Thanks for any help!
]]>In customization page I see editable ,,Search results page titles,, option, but after editing my own text, in my language, it make sense only on found results. (Correct, like in english: ,,Search Page Results,,)
But the 2nd case (No search results), translated sentence:
,,No,, + ,,Search page results,, is in my language incorrect….
Under Sir Winston Churchill, quote comes up: ,,Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Please try again with some different keywords.,, so for me It is not necessary to have ,,No,, in heading…
Thank You!
(Excuse my bad English..)
]]>For example: When someone does a search for the word ‘politics’ it will end up on a page laughing at him with maybe even some relevant links. But mainly laughing because my website doesn’t deal with politics (for example!).
I could leave this alone, but I would really like to make specific pages for some search words I pick myself. So it will not always end up on the page that says ‘Not found’.
