WP tries to ‘Highlight’ search terms but shows HTML in post title?

Hi,

Awesome plugin, but just spotted an error.

If we search our website and the search term is part of an article title, WP tries to highlight the term on the page. Its fine within the main results, but in the right sidebar the Recent Posts Extended widget show all the HTML on the screen like this:

Is there a setting we can apply to stop this happening?

Problem With Search

When using search form in the top navigation (Ecommerce Storefront theme) the search by default is using the “All Categories”, but nothing is found if using the all categories.

User has to change to the right category to find their queries.

Events Manager Search not working at all

4.3.1

Plugin Release:
5.6.1

Theme used:
Twenty Fifteen (Default wordpress one)

Plugins installed:
Events Manager 5.6.1 (Activated)
Akismet 3.1.5 (Deactivated)
Hello Dolly 1.6 (Deactivated)

What doesn’t work and when:
When visiting the /events/ page we can see following content:

When we try to use the Search (the field to the left) in following way:
– focus on “Search field”
– input “test” text to the field
– submit form via the green button to the right

And this is what we get:

Expected result:
When having a “test” event, the search should show the “test” event in the results
AND
when no matching event is found, we should land on a page with search widget and “No events found” message.

404 is not acceptable, but is what we’re getting now

navigating on my web with my phone using the plugin, i detected a bug, when you try to search something, shows the result but like the desktop version with the plugins header and after that you can’t use the menu

the web page is on spanish try to search for example “cine”

I’m in products list and searched for some keyword.

got results and now want to search again. I enter my new keyword into search box and look what url i get :

Serious Bug – Stop words being fused to good words

My home page www.ieqindoorplants.com.au has the words “colours and”. These are being fused to gether as “coloursand” and stored in the relevanssi DB table wp_relevanssi.
If I do a search on “coloursand” and relevanssi it will find my home page.
It is very hard nigh impossible to remove this error. I retype, use functions paste from word, paste as plain text, clear caches, reindex, and many other things but to no avail.
There are many other example where a stop word has been fused. “suitablefor” “plasesin” “spacestall” “arealways” and many more.
With the plugin DB Peek anyone can examine the content of the DB Tables. Relevanssi holds these words in table called wp_relevanssi. So anyone can check to see if they have the same problem. They are easy to spot.
If I deactivate relevanssi, and use the WP default search, this problem goes away.
Also – a google search does not find these fused words.
