With the new version out, do we still have to use the WP query plugin to make custom search or is there another way to acheive something that searchees on the bases of Category, Type or Location. Thanks for the wonderful plugin.

I have done some research on this topic and followed many tutorials but nothing seems to work, I was wondering if someone could help me out? I want to allow the search form in my WordPress site to also include custom post types and custom meta fields. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. THANKS!

So im in need of some direction. I am trying to make a website kind of like Craigslist. I have a database full of businesses and information about the businesses. I need to be able to have it pulled up on a page and be able to search through the businesses by the type of business, location, ect. Any ideas on how to do this?

Hi! i’m using Media Custom Fields version 1.0, it works great: I can create and display my media custom fields, but I cannot search it.

It’s possible?

An example:

I create a Media Custom Field called “Place” (wpmcf_place is created on wpmetadata table).

I insert data (Germany, Spain, USA, …) on different images Place custom field.

Now I like to use the wordpress search to find the photos with Germany in this custom field, introducing Germany in Search form,

No results!

I tried the search everything plugin anb custom field search plugin with no luck

any ideas?
