403 Error when saving settings in WP-members

For others, thought this might help.
After trying various times to save settings in WP-members, I got a 403 Forbidden error each time when clicking the save button.

This is what I did to resolve:
In cPanel navigate to the Security Menu and enter ModSecurity module.
Disable it for your site. Log out of your wordpress admin site and back in… Voila!

Worked for me, hope it works for others.

Please note, I have another security plugin, so this might not be an applicable fix for everyone.

Error 406 – Not Acceptable
Generally a 406 error is caused because a request has been blocked by Mod Security. If you believe that your request has been blocked by mistake please contact the web site owner.

I can’t change sittings?

I’m trying to change sittings when I choose like text instead of image and click save sign shows sittings saved but when I refresh the sitting shows as before with no change

I just activated the Plugin and set all my settings but none of them was saved and shown on the frontend.

Plugin worked well for 2 months. A few days ago I needed to deactivate the plugin while doing a routine check and after re-activating none of the site’s queries work (sitewide) no posts show on the frontend for any query (new WP_Query). I uninstalled and re-installed but no difference – in fact, it doesn’t even matter if all taxonomies are unchecked on the plugin’s settings page, still no queries will produce results unless the plugin is deactivated. I like this plugin and hoping there’s a quick fix!

Settings not saving for Shipping Zones

Hi there! Just getting our shop set up to be able to ship and found this plugin – it looked great and I was able to set up domestic shipping (I am in the US, and have all the base settings in place) – the settings saved and in my shopping cart I am able to calculate just fine and select between various shipping methods using USPS First Class and Priority. This works perfectly and when I go back to that zone and click ‘edit’ I can see my settings are saved.

However, when I added other zones – one for Canada and one for Europe – then click edit on either of those, add my zip code and select the shipping methods I’d like, just as I did with the US settings, I will click save and the green notice comes up saying my settings have been saved BUT they really have not! When I do a calculation in my cart it says “There are no shipping methods available.” And then when I go back to edit the settings nothing had actually saved. I’ve tried to do this many many times and it just will not save these settings.

The US settings are great – I even printed a shipping label so this is perfect, but I need International calculations in my cart. Any help or suggestions with this would be VERY much appreciated as I really want to use this plugin!!!

Two customization glitches

The Lock Icon and Sticky Pin colors on the Topics Index Styling page do not persist after you click on the “Save changes” button.

Pressing “Enter” or “Return” while the cursor is active in a data-entry field on the Topics Index Styling page causes the page to save settings, but only the setting in that active field is saved.

BBPress 2.5.12, WP 4.7.1, bbp Style Pack 3.4.1 running locally under MAMP 1.9.6 with PHP version 5.3.5. I’m using a child theme based on GeneratePress 1.2.41 with version 1.2.92 of the GeneratePress Premium plug-in.

I’m using UM in WordPress template Smartshop. I think this plugin is amazing. I only have one bug to report. Every time i want to save the settings of UM i get an SQL statement on my screen. Did you removed it from UM or is it a bug on my part.

Page settings don't get saved

Hi Jeff,

Awesome plugin, needless to say.

Now, small problem, the settings on the individual page don’t get saved for me. Global settings do however and they cannot be overwritten on individual pages, so whatever I set in the global settings, stays on all pages.

Plugin version 5.7.3
WP version 4.1

Problem Saving Settings with New Sociable Plugin Update

Hi, I installed the new Sociable plugin update (4.2.8) today. I updated the sociable classic settings on the sociable options page. Specifically, I changed the size of the icons, the icons, and the buttons that I want to appear on my site on the options page. I then saved these settings. When I go to my site, however, the default settings appear and when I return to the options page it has reverted to the default settings.

I have tried changing the settings a couple of times and have tried reinstalling the plugin. Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
