Enable Saving as draft makes it possible to post without approval

Hi!

When the option “saving as draft” is enabled users are able to submit and publish their posts without being reviewed by saving them as draft first and then submitting them (the submit button is replaced by the update button).

In my opinion, this should obviously be considered a bug since if the “Post Status” setting set to “Pending Review” (as we do cause we need to verify each post before publishing it) it makes no sense that users can go “live” by skipping this important step simply saving the form as a draft (which is also necessary so they don’t lose their progress and continue at another time without being ready to submit).

If I may, the save as draft option should respect this setting during the creation of a new post and keep the post as pending review if it is submitted after saving as draft (likewise, the save as draft option could be changed to “Delist” or “Make post offline” when it is not a new post but the editing of an already approved/published post).

Hi there, on the bottom part of this page there’s a gallery. Clicking on an image should lead to the website displayed. The ones that were already there still work, but if I add a new one, the plugin doesn’t seem to save the url I put in the box. I’ve tried adding the information directly in the media section as well, to no avail. I haven’t added any new plugins or anything and I don’t use builders, just simple classic WP (Gutenberg disabled). What am I doing wrong or what am I missing?

Banner texts won’t get saved

I just installed Complianz (done it on many sites already) and somehow the banner text settings do not save. Tried multiple times and cleared caches on wp and browser. Color settings saved right but the texts stay default.

Empty Elementor Taxonomy Field, does not clear the existing values

Empty Elementor Form field “Select” Type”, does not clear the existing Taxonomy values when saved.

Other fields work as intended on ACF fields, but Taxonomy field does not clear when a post is updated with empty values from the Select Type fields.

How do I resolve?

When I want to update the German menu (or any menu) I created yesterday

Navigation\Menu::add_plugin_item is deprecated since 9.3 with no alternative. Navigation classes will be removed in WooCommerce 9.4

cannot save existing tables

I cannot save existing tables. When I press Save, 3 dots flash permanently. Now I have created a new table with the same content. The new table can be saved. However, there is a new problem. Elements of the type unordered list are used in the table. The list icon is Disc. The table is displayed correctly and saving works. However, the unordered list is not transferred. After calling up the table, a numbering is displayed and not the disc. What can I do so that the table is saved with an unordered list?

Why is the Save draft option disabled when enabling conversational form? It would be extremely useful to know a workaround and enable it as form is very big and would need to be saved automatically just in case. This would apply for logged out users only

Error messages cannot retriece or save

I have just installed WooPayments and all has been authroised etc. When I click on WooCommerce > Settings > Payments an error message appears saying “Error retrieving settings”

I am also unable to check box the section for Credit / Debit Cards but Apple Pay and Google Pay allow the check box to be ticked.

If I try and save the settings, an error message appears, “Error saving settings”

In the WooCommerce > Settings > Logs tab, there are fatal-errors like this (details changed for display purposes):

Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_cart() on null in /homepages/14/mydatabase/htdocs/mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/order-delivery-date/includes/orddd-process.php:4092

Can someone please help with this as we’re trying to get our website up and running.

Client can’t save nor send newsletters

A client contacted me earlier this week regarding a newsletter he was doing and how he couldn’t save it and, today, send it. Weirdly, it worked fine on my end.

Running through the usual IT troubleshooting (restart browser, try others, restart PC, clear cookies and browsing data, test on other devices and networks, testing on my admin account, etc. etc.) led to no solution. The error started as ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR and, after clearing the cookies, became ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED.

I tested on a colleagues computer that never accessed the website and shares the same network and IP as mine, where I easily replicated the problems my client had by just trying to save. I also confirmed that Wordfence or the server’s firewall aren’t blocking any of these actions, as it doesn’t even register.

In different places in the country, with different computers, networks and browsers, this problem has persisted and has only worked on my device due to accessing their website often. Any ideas of what could be happening or leading to these errors?
